@erisama​ Not gonna lie, I didn’t even remember that artist at first lol.

I like Kippu’s artwork, and like Wada Sachiko, I like the way they draw eyes. Their eyes are so sparkly and cute!

The eyes are very two-toned, like you can see hints of pink in Marcia’s eyes, hints of the palest yellow in Ninian’s eyes, etc. And I mean no disrespect to Yoshiku but I think Kippu draws Peony way cuter with a lot more expression. They draw a LOT of the girls with great expression.

They’re just really great with color palettes in general, too. Elincia’s artwork makes the gold and green blend really well, Linde uses really soft shades of pink and brown... I’d say they’re probably one of the best pastel palette users in the game. They draw such adorable girls. But they can also draw guys too, and while the guys need to stay more in the bishie realm, I still count it as diverse enough.

Now criticism wise, there’s two issues I have with their artwork.

1. They’re not as good at drawing guys as they are at drawing girls. I do think they were a good artist pick for Rhys considering his personality, but his body looks kind of awkward both in pose and anatomy. I know Rhys is slender but his legs just... look like sticks. I don’t know if it’s the pants but they need a little more curve. Nils fares better in anatomy but still has some stiff-ish posing.

2. Kippu’s specialty is in drawing cute girls, so honestly I feel that their artwork for Sonya and Tharja was not their strongest piece. Anatomy, color, expression, and pose-work are on point (save for Tharja hovering weirdly close to Sonya’s tit in the neutral portrait for some reason but that’s just a personal nitpick); but these are mature adult women and it just... doesn’t really come across. Like I know Sonya and Tharja are in their 20′s still, but they don’t really look like adults. I think the issue is the eye style and the lip-definition not being strong enough.

Nonetheless, a very talented and cute artist. 8 to 9/10, and I’d like to see them draw the Kanas sometime.
