The Cruelty in His Reflection: The guards taking him to ore processing manhandled him roughly, pushing him and tripping him and then laughing when he stumbled.

(why don’t you just) take what you want from me: Garak should have been more on guard when Sisko called him to his quarters instead of the wardroom to talk.

i want to hold your hand: Garak ran down the hallway with Julian in tow.

you only live twice (first line kindly donated to me by @the-last-dillpickle as the prompt for the fic): Julian's easy smile dropped as the chair spun around, and he discovered that the character of 'M' was not to be played by a holo replica of the sexagenarian Harrison Ford but instead Julian's very own personal Boogeyman: Sloan.

prima facie: When Garak entered his own quarters after a long day of working in the shop, he was instantly put on guard.

the looking-glass war: Ben stopped by the Replimat to grab a raktajino on his way to Ops.

gaslight gatekeep girlboss: Shaken from her before-service prayers by a hand on her shoulder, Ziyal looks up to find Kai Winn’s bland smile.

Wow, I feel like I only had like three good ones here (and one of those was the one written by Dill). 😂 I guess I just start with something to get words on the page, and it seems like usually I never think of anything better than my initial placeholder. It’s fine though! They work well enough! And I feel like my first paragraphs are usually pretty good at setting the tone and introducing you to the situation, even if the first sentence alone isn’t. 😂
