also, within the genshin impact community, there's a tendency to diminish or outright erase the distinct/positive aspects of regions like Liyue and Inazuma by attributing all of their positives to "Asian Bias" and nothing more.

any details of importance are automatically discredited. the lore is suddenly not accurate anymore and nothing positive that comes out of that region matters at all because they're asian.

it's hypocritical (they never say that when other regions get their positive spotlight), low-key racist, and sinophobic. you're reducing all of the beauty in the region (and effort put into the characters) to one characteristic, and discriminating them all based off of it.

it's annoying asf...even more annoying when people say they aren't racist or sinophobic themselves before turning around and projecting this same exact reasoning in genshin lore discussions. everytime.

everytime albedo appears in these suspicious lore-parallel esque events im at the edge of my seat (the whopperflower one has definitely left a lasting impression) despite this event in particular being very cute

it had to poke at us with yet another daunting revelation lol

i don't think people didn't expect durin to revive eventually...but im glad this event somewhat solidifies it hehe. it's a faraway, useless, hopeful wish but...i hope we have some more dedicated time to talk more in detail about it with albedo soon. or some other lore relevant character (it feels like absolute delusion to expect it to be with venti — just as major, mysterious lore character with many secrets unbreached cause Plot™ — atp 😞).

just...need more brain scratching albedo revelations (because it feels like we're discovering new world breaking lore beside him, a learning and ever so curious primordial human).

oh yea, after this moment in sgwinne's quest idk why he acts like he's above the other archons concerning fair assessment and judgement when this is how he acts with the society's laws that he did not create nor does he agree with, but upholds all the same (and, unlike the archons, has the power to change). executes it to the utmost degree (which is commendable). with no slither of hesitation or potential lighter "workarounds" when the consequences potentially don't match the weight of the crime lol

they're both literally two sides of the same coin.

just replace fontaine's law with the heavenly principles.

the only difference is there is much more risk and danger associated with the archons being forced into complying and executing the hp's law. neuv was not forced into his position (like they were), and while it "requires" him to abide by the rules, even if he doesn't, the most he risks is a slight hit to his reputation versus the archons risking hundreds of years worth of cultivation in their societies via them being obliterated (or cursed so bad they'd wished they were destroyed) 🤣

there's a difference in the scales here, but they're a lot more alike than he realizes and acknowledges (or, he realizes that, but still holds the holier than thou perspective. which is fair when acknowledging one instance but definitely not the majority) xD

i didn't know people actually believed zhongli colonized chenyu vale

colonization: unprovoked conquest. domineering suppression. exploitation. conflicting dominance.

none of these directly (or should i say accurately) reflect the situation with chenyu vale integrating into morax's rule following the death of their god—who started the war-like conflict with him and his people by attempting to decimate their lands and his denizens— it just seems more like an attempt to antagonize versus accurately describing the events that unfolded tbh.

the chinese characters used in describing what happened aren't even synonymous with that term nor do they share the same meaning y'all...
