Lair Review: Kiriati #9276

trying to pick different dragons this time around!

This handsome boy caught my attention right off the bat.  His accent is really cool!  I especially like the combination of apparel that he's wearing.  The flair scarf looks pretty snazzy with his white spats.

also I can't help but be reminded of the artist Voltaire when I see him.  I bet this is how he would look as a dragon!

Voltaire is spot on.  Perfect!

Terrel's seafoam tertiary REALLY works well.  It catches the eye perfectly.  Gembond was a great choice for him!  His apparel is really neat too - I like how the cape and the cowl look together especially.  Very handsome!

annnnnd Dansu found the iri/shim/circuit dragon!  Kaiko looks gorgeous!  I love how bright and colorful he is.  The colorful apparel suits him well!  So handsome!  Banana circuit is one of the best things ever.

Lair Review for Kiriati

Sleipnir was a lot of things--a compulsive thief, a bit reckless, rather silly at times--but stupid was one of them. Flying through a lightning storm definitely bordered more on stupid than reckless. Electricity charged the air and she could feel the storm crackling in the distance the moment she crossed the border into the Shifting Expanse. Folding her wings, she instantly dived for the ground. She’d rather walk over the desert than fly, even if large streaks of lightning zig-zagged over the earth.

  They pinged off the various lightning rods rammed into the dirt, white-blue arcs zapping between the rods. The place sizzled with heat and she folded her wings over her back and ran across the ground in a low crouch, careful to avoid any places that looked particularly hazardous to her health.

  She was so concerned with avoiding getting struck by a wayward bolt that Sleipnir wasn’t looking where she was going and careened right into a rather large imperial. Bouncing off of his leg, she rolled over the dirt before catching herself. She launched back to her feet and gave herself a violent shake, her satchels sliding back into their proper place at her side.

  “I am so sorry...” her words drifted off as she saw the bags he wore, almost identical to hers except in his he could have fit a whole mirror pack! “Oh, are you a courier then too? A pleasure to meet you.”

  She started to bow when she saw his wings. They were feathered, so unlike other imperials! “Wow, your wings are incredible. Do you find the feathers help your more to fly in the storms? I admit, I get rather battered around anytime I try and fly out here. Oh! I really must be going, I’ll watch where I’m going better, I swear.”

  She was already running again as she yelled the words over her shoulder. She had a very important message to deliver all the way on the other-- OOMPH! She toppled right over a beautiful ridgeback female’s foot and fell face forward into the dirt with an undignified cry. Electricity arced over her, the bolts of lightning slashing through the sky and she scrambled backwards.

  “Oh, I apologize. It’s your land always has me so...rattled.” She dusted herself off and looked up. The large pale beast had ruins etched into her wings, a bright gold against the red of her wings. She wore a huge black cape that made her look positively regal. Crap. She’d probably just bowled her way into their Queen or something. That wouldn’t bode well for inter-clan relations.

  “Lovely cape you have there and I so didn’t mean to muss it.” Sleipnir backpedaled as fast as she could, this time being a heck of a lot more careful about where she was going. She hadn’t made it far before a pair of skydancers caught her eye. One had gems that shimmered, sparkling and twinkling as if they were cut from the finest diamonds.

  Instantly her claws began to twitch. A jewel like that would fit perfectly in her hoard! She inched forward, fully intending just to get a closer look--after all, she couldn't very well pry the gembond off the other dragon--when her gaze drifted to the other skydancer female. Gold lined the brilliant jade of her wings, and while her gembond didn’t shimmer, she was just as beautiful. Sleipnir made a soft longing sound as she looked at the jewelry draped on the neck of the second skydancer.

  No, no, no, no. She'd promised Nox she'd try not to steal something from every clan she passed. She'd promised...oh, but promises were hard!!! Disgrunted, she snorted.

A white dove floated around her and Sleipnir shook her head. How could two dragons with such riches feel so safe in the middle of a lightning field? Then again the skydancers probably had an easier time of it than the imperial and ridgeback she’d run into.

  When one of the skydancers looked her way, Sleipnir ducked her head a bit guiltily. “You both are very beautiful. I love your gloves," she said to one, then turning to the other, "And, and...your hat makes you look like the finest poet every. I hope you both have a nice day!”

  Finally, desperate enough to risk the skies, she leapt up over and arcing bolt of lightning and flew away. She didn't trust herself to stay longer, but at least now she could go home after delivering her next letter and report her success. And she'd be very, very happy if she didn't have to fly through the lightning filled land any time soon again.

Lair Review: Kiriati #9276

Zhuyin is one handsome Imp!  Blood/blood/ivory is really awesome together. Ivory crackle is really growing on me! His apparel is fantastic as well.  I really like that it matches his colors.  Fancy pants steampunk pilot <3

Ooooh, hello there iri/shim/circuit Guardian.  I like that the aqua circuit kinda washes out his purple shimmer.  I want one. His apparel really suits him as well!  The aqua birdskull stuff perfectly matches his aqua tert!  

This lovely lady is Liara.  I love her coloring - sky and midnight look really nice together!  Have thought about getting her gembond for her tertiary?  With the accent you have on her, I think it would look really nice.  Though I like her as is, because the accent makes it look like stars are shining on her!
