While working on the finished version of this pinup, I went nuts experimenting with different color variations... Well at some point when I was turning layers on and off, I wound up with just the line art and shading on beige, and damn if it didn't look kinda neat! (Then I slapped some katakana in there to make this happy little accident look purposeful).

As I mentioned in the rough sketch of this pinup, I was recently inspired to draw Kirone, a character I haven't drawn or even referenced in a decade and a half... She is sorta based in the Avania setting, but well predates the comic itself, so does not have a place in the setting as it is now... Perhaps she will feature in [yet another] of my Avania AUs? We’ll see!
