Viktoria - Gasoline Beach

We're in the home stretch of the brand-new summer sketches! I think this was one of the first sketches I made in this batch, but when I started cleaning it up I really went in on the line work and I think it looks great (as Viktoria always does)!

Squeaky clean is relative… But the pinups on my DeviantArt are about as unsafe for tumblr as you’re going to find.

Millenial!Chasse - Killing Time

(Forgot to post the finished one after I posted the sketch a while back!) She's playing Kataklysm RPG on her phone's sick 50x50 color display. You can't see it here, but she's wearing her Seepage hoodie (and obviously listening to Seepage on her portable CD player).

Also, artist self-nitpick: I originally had her skirt just riding over her tail (since Rozenich have thicc tails, and no modesty taboo), but in this pose you get less of the pleated-ness and a less cohesive outline if the skirt stays over the tail. So I guess the cutout for tails is large enough even for a floofy raptor empennage.

Warm weather means it's car wash season! ...or plane wash I guess, if that's what you daily.

Anyway, I haven't done any new pen & paper sketches in a long time, but I recently had a good opportunity to do so, and this was one of the new sketches I did.

Time for some brand-new summer sketches! This time featuring Viktoria in a dress I saw modeled by a mannequin while I was walking to work (the boutique looked to be more toward Viktoria's price range too), but whoops--I guess those designer handbags aren't always manufactured all the demands of a well-equipped femme fatale in mind!

It's spring in the city and the flowers are starting to pop up! The perfect time to bring back Rhys' boundless energy with this finalized piece I started last fall.

Beyond the self-evident reasons for drawing, I wanted to try to capture at least some of the qualities of the highly polished cel art from 80s anime / the polished up official art accompanying said anime. It may have turned into more simplistic digital painting in places, but in any case I'm very happy with the result!

(I think she's listening to bird!Miki Matsubara -- Just try listening to Stay With Me while looking at this pic and you'll wish I had the time to animate her dancing to it... Or at least, I wish I could devote the time to it!)

Always wanted to color this old sketch since Una's suit was inspired by a late 80s / early 90s beach volleyball beer ad, and I just love the aesthetic.
