Uh oh, stay warm! Tea/coffee/hot cocoa and blankets! :D Up where I am, we've been getting flurries, but it's still so cold even when there isn't snow.
Blankets and tea and a warm laptop have been doing a pretty good job :) Plus my chaise is by the radiator, so I've been camped out here pretty much all day while the boys watch TV.

Which book?
Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. My mother suggested the first one, and I went onto the second, and now I'm about to start the third (there's eight books total with a planned ninth).
I really enjoy them so far, admittedly I've been up until 3-4 in the morning reading (I haven't done this since Harry Potter. Outlander series is a bit intense, from anywhere to 'Wtf am I reading?' to 'I don't think I should be reading the book this late at night'). The late-night reading has been cut back though, in an effort to fix my sleeping schedule.
(The photosets/gifs I queue as my last scheduled post for the day is from Starz's TV adaptation of the first book).

That's how it used to be for me, back during my pre-posting online days. I still occasionally have trouble, but the title this time is for a collection as opposed to a single story, which I think makes it a bit trickier.

*hugs* According to the calendar, it should be. But honestly, I don't know what's going to happen in the next couple of weeks, especially into May. It's a bit of a... transition at the moment.
Would you post a non-Sunday Six teaser from a fic you just started writing, or would you wait until you a) had written more or b) had finished the whole thing?
Sunday Sixes / teasers give me a never-ending guilt complex. At any one time I have half a dozen fics being actively written (as in, have been added to in the last month or two), and if I’m excited about something, I’ll Sunday Six/tease it. The problem is that a) I have very little time to write these days, and b) my muse is ADD. I may get out 20K words in a weekend, then not work on it again for months.
tl;dr - If I’m excited about it, I love to share what I’m exited about. But then I’ll feel guilty, rather than motivated, to work in it. I’d much rather post a teaser of something that finished but still has to go through the long beta/revising stage.
