i got three skeins of yarn originally for my blanket, and i couldn’t find an explicit lot number or anything on it but all the numbers matched. spouse noticed i was running low and went and got me more (same store, five days later) (also yes she is amazing and perfect and you should all be jealous), and any numbers i can find on the tags match exactly, but it’s slightly more saturated and a slightly different texture 😭 I didn’t notice til I’d already wrapped it into a ball and was attaching to my blanket
like it may work out and not be that noticeable idk. spouse suggested stopping, ordering all the yarn I’d need at once, and beginning again once I got that, but it’s already hours of work in and i would 100% be too demoralized about it to finish it if i had to start completely over. so i’m just running with it and hoping for the best i guess. it’s not like it was precise stripes or anything anyway so I hope it remains the kind of blotchy spots that I was really liking but idk. I guess we’ll see. waaaaaah i’m so upset though I hate it so much
