Doyo suspected the boggarts of brewing a plot against his crop, so he scythed away his grain to clear the sightlines.

This is definitely in my top 10 favorite Magic arts. Some boggart tied a brick to a fish to make a weapon. 10/10. Hilarious goblin weaponsmithing there.

Uh! Why do you get three fish!
Elementals on Lorwyn are composed of dreams and tend to look like a mishmash of animals. Still, this raises a lot of questions.
Gallant Fowlknight (Lorwyn Eclipsed No. 17 - Illus. Edgar Sanchez Hidalgo)
Quite a few things have changed between the original Lorwyn block and Lorwyn Eclipsed, and it looks like the Kithkin knights have been diversifying their mounts. Gallant Fowlknight is riding a giant chicken, but Kithkin can also be seen riding bears, boars and goats in this set. Lorwyn Eclipsed is full of callbacks, sometimes to rather obscure cards, and while I'm not sure if this one was intentional, the card could be seen as a reference to the original bird-riding Kithkin, Plover Knights (check out my post about that card here).
I like the idea that Kithkin are good at taming all sorts of animals - maybe the thoughtweft makes it easier for them to connect with the natural world somehow.
However, I'm a bit disappointed that Lorwyn Eclipsed doesn't even feature one "proper springjack", the default Kithkin mount back from 2007. Did all springjack farms get obliterated by the Phyrexian Invasion? I see no clear reason for why they should be excluded from an art direction perspective, so maybe they are in the style guide, but just didn't end up getting included somehow?
I want to say that this is another difference between the original Lorwyn block and Lorwyn Eclipsed: While original Lorwyn was whimsy, it was somewhat focused and grounded in its whimsy-ness, whereas Lorwyn Eclipsed feels more chaotic and "zany" overall.
