The drama ended on a really good note, but the sudden fact that they release that 阿問 is 顧里's brother is too random. Like there was no hints whatsoever leading up to this finding. And how come we don't see what happens to 衛海? Also, I find 宛如 and 許偉 weird together, but I guess she needs her man too for Drama's sake.
Overall, it was a fun ride. But I think the main reason why it was this good because the "writers" did not stay true to Guo Jing Ming's original novel and made a more heart-warming drama instead. For instance, I would've cringed soooo badly if they 衛海 and 南湘 got together and we get a scene with 宛如 screaming along the lines of "why did you steal my man?!" Which is what happens in the movie version, mind you.
