Lydia hadn’t planned on telling Kira about her father being back in town and the situation with his boss but it just kind of slipped when they had been hanging out. It seemed as though Kira could tell something was off about Lydia and explaining that seemed a lot easier than going into detail about the million things Lydia had on her mind recently. She felt like she was drowning and didn’t feel like getting into any of that. So at least she had opened up to Kira about the Charles thing- that felt a lot better. And then a few days later Kira was asking Lydia to meet up again because she had something she wanted to talk to her about. Which Lydia was more than happy to do. She had been avoiding most of her friends recently but if Kira needed help at all Lydia would be there. The banshee got ready quickly and then met headed to the park where she agreed to meet Kira. Lydia took a seat on the bench as she waited for her friend.

Allison weaved through the preserve’s trees easily, darting over logs and under branches.  She was still patrolling a couple of times a week, following some of the old routes that she had drawn up with her father before she died.  The pack was in so many stages of turmoil that she was pretty sure no one else was doing it, and it settled something in her to know someone was keeping an eye on the territory.  A hunter patrolling a werewolf pack’s territory.  Now that one would give her grandfather an aneurism.  Allison paused, listening to the sounds of the preserve at night.  There was something heading towards her.  She hummed quietly, hand on her bow as she waited for whatever it was to reveal itself.

Scott plopped down on the couch and handed over the bowl of popcorn to Kira before propping his feet up on the coffee table. It was supposed to be a nice and light date night, but Scott knew that was a pretense. He had some heavy stuff to talk to Kira about. Nothing was ever easy. There was no simple way to ease into it, in any case. "So, bad news, I'm not immune to the Yuki-Onna;s possession. The good news is I survived it, though, so there’s that." @kitsuneiism

Lydia had been incredibly shaken up about what happened in the woods. There were so many mixed emotions she felt but Lydia didn't really want to talk about it at all. She hadn’t told anyone- other than Stiles, obviously. He was there, after all. But she wasn't planning on letting anyone else know. Lydia just didn't want to discuss the situation. She was angry at herself for not being strong enough to fight the wolf, and also incredibly curious as to what that wolf actually was. Lydia was determined to find out and get stronger so that she wouldn’t be taken down like that again. She was healing now, but still should’ve been taking things easy and getting rest. That wasn't something Lydia was interested in doing though. She needed to be proactive before she ended up losing her mind. It’s why she found herself headed towards the woods to look around for any sign of the wolf. It was reckless, and she shouldn’t have been going alone- or going at all when she wasn't fully healed, but she couldn't stop herself. Lydia was just about there when she spotted Kira. She almost hoped her friend didn't see her but they made eye contact and Lydia knew she had to talk to her. “Kira.” Lydia breathed out, forcing a bit of a smile. “Hey, what were you doing out here?”

Ever since the Horsemen had left Beacon Hills, Lydia ended up feeling more on edge than when they were actually around. She couldn't sleep well at night and was constantly looking over her shoulders. She even had a few panic attacks over the last few days but of course Lydia wasn't going to tell anyone about that. The banshee had hope that this anxiety she was feeling would go away eventually and she could handle it herself. But as it was getting worse, Lydia was becoming a bit more desperate for the feeling to disappear. She stayed awake at night just thinking about how many more innocent people in other towns were being murdered because she couldn't defeat the Horsemen. It was torturous and the guilt was eating her alive to the point where Lydia couldn't take it anymore. On a particular rough night she decided to just get in the car and check out some neighboring towns to see if they had moved on over there. It was late and she figured she could just drive through. Lydia was careful not to wake Stiles as she slipped out of bed and then began driving. On her way towards the highway she passed Kira’s house and noticed that her friend was sitting outside. Lydia thought about just driving but she knew Kira would recognize the car so she pulled over. “Hey, Kira. What are you doing outside so late?”

🐢 - What type of animal would they keep for a pet?

A dog. Stiles would love to have a puppy. He wouldn’t mind a cat but he really wants a dog. Even though Lydia’s old dog, Prada, didn’t seem to like him much. He thinks that was more a Prada problem than a Stiles problem, though.

🎃 - What is your character’s favorite holiday?

His favorite holiday used to be Christmas because it was a time for family. But that changed. Now he likes Arbor Day. It sounds dumb, he knows, but he likes the idea of planting trees and helping nature. Other holidays just make him sad.”

Lydia was happy to be able to spend time with her friend that didn't involve having to fight supernatural creatures. Of course she loved being able to kick ass with Kira but it was also nice to just be a normal teenager. She definitely jumped at the opportunity to just go get some lunch and then decide what they wanted to do for the rest of the day. With no villain threatening Beacon Hills, they really had so many options. The break from the harsh reality of the town was doing a lot to replenish Lydia’s spirits, too. She didn't realize how much she’d needed these few months of peace to just process everything that had happened and learn to move on. It wasn't happening overnight, but Lydia had made a lot of progress. She was happier, and that was what mattered most. The strawberry blonde took about an hour to get ready and then headed towards Kira’s house, shooting her a text once she was outside.
