                               She hadn’t expected him to respond, in all actuality, she hadn’t anticipated ANYONE replying back to her. Not that what she’d said was rhetorical. Just -- unexpected.

simple  answer:  yes!  for  kurama,  it’s  a  bit,  uh,  heavy.  teenage  hormones  are  one  hell  of  a  drug,  as  well  as  seeing  youko  kurama  and  yusuke’s  mazoku  blood  giving  more  weird  primal  urges,  he  gets  really  interesting  dreams involving  kurama.

with  kagome,  they’re  a  little  more  tame,  though  i’m  not  saying  his  hormones  don’t  touch  those  dreams  because  of  course  they  do.  they’re  just  more  tame  because  of  how  he  views  kagome.  she  carries  the  aura  of  a  priestess,  so  they  usually  just  involve  hypothetical  conversations  or  hangouts,  etc.  he’s  so  comfortable  with  her  that  they’re  just  a  normal  teenage  life  in  his  dreams

In general it’s an old fashioned word for romancing someone, I suppose seduction is another meaning in this context

     THE KITSUNE was wary on the other’s appearance. He was aware it was still Kurama, but the sudden change to his old appearance almost made him shrink away. The white haired form before him was much stronger than the previous form. He had made a slight move backwards when the other spoke up.

          “ Ah, I didn’t mean- I won’t run away. I don’t have anywhere else to go... It just startled me. ”

He leaned forward to settle his chin on the forearm that rested on the desk he was seated at. Gently his index finger traced the trunk of the small bonsai tree that had come into his possession. Once he’d had one that was several centuries old, lost to him now. He’d have to ask Kurama what shape the tree would like best. As if his thoughts had summoned him --

“What do you think?” He questioned around the stick of candy-and-biscuit between his lips, not even having to look over his shoulder to know who was in the room with him.
