SONAZE!!! I love sonaze, their temperaments work really well together and they feel like a no-nonsense, easy to match couple in power and heart. Plus Burning Blaze and Super Sonic are SO AESTHETICALLY PLEASING TOGETHER

The whole idea behind Team Fakes originated in me wanting to put Kit and Nine together because I think they would be great together. But their story is so fascinating to me, I've essentially created a point of divergence in the arc of Surge and Kit's redemption and Nine coming into the picture takes them in a whole Ordeal.

I would love to give all the story beats, but! Like I said, I wanna write this out as a fic, so I don't wanna spoil anything.
