I wasn’t planning on doing this so quickly, but i guess i’ve decided it’s better to rip the bandaid off quickly rather than slowly and painfully. In this post, i’ll be explaining what i’ll be changing about and on this blog and why. Time to move forward! :)

So, you may or may not have seen my previous posts that indicate i’ve had an epiphany, like i’ve suddenly seen the light! I can promise you, that’s not the case at all. I’ve been wanting to make these changes for a long time but was either not in the right mental place to do so, too lazy, too busy, just didn’t get around to it, etc etc... Time and time again i’ve been on the verge of making the decision and going through with it, only to back out again in fear of bad reactions, disappointing my followers or regretting my decision. Well, today, it ends.

Change #1 : Reducing the amount of groups i’ll write for

I’ve realized that i bit off way more than i could chew, especially when i started focusing more on the quality of my work rather than the quantity. I want to take my time with my stories, want to build them slowly but surely into something i can be proud of rather than cranking out three fics a week but not being satisfied with what i’m actually bringing to the table. I enjoy writing, and the more i enjoy it, the more i want to develop my skills. 

So, as from now on, the groups i will actively be writing for are:

- BTS

- MONSTA X

- GOT7

that’s it, folks. I know three groups don’t seem like much, but it’s honestly the best i can do with the time that’s given to me and these groups are the easiest for me to write for.

Change #2 : Removal of old fics and fics for the groups i will no longer be writing for

This was the hardest part to come to terms with, to be completely honest. It took me a long time to decide whether i wanted to go through with this or not, but seeing how my discomfort towards my old fics started to grow and weigh me down in my progress as a writer, i’ve decided it’s for the best.

The reason why i don’t want these fics on my blog anymore is because most of them are either horrific in writing style or overal concept/message/moral values/... While i’m happy to have grown as a writer to recognize these flaws, i can not bear knowing they are still on my current blog to this day. 

It’s important to remember where i came from, though, which is why i’ll be posting these fics on wattpad, using the platform to archive the fics i no longer will be hosting on this blog. This way i can go back to them if i ever wish to, as well as you guys who might have grown fond of one of those fics.

Change #3 : More consistent tag usage!

This is of a less importance, but still worth noting. As some of you may know, i’m a damn mess haha, and it reflects in my blog. Tags are all over the place and it’s hard to find something back if it’s not specifically linked in a masterpost (which i’ve created like thousands of in the meantime, yikes) so! better, recognizable and consistent tags it is! for both your convenience and mine!

Change #4 : More consistent formatting!

You can clearly see how old a fic is when it has a certain format lol, you can just point out which phase i was going through just by looking at how i displayed and formatted my fics. No more! All fics will be neatly formatted, recognizable and clear as to whether they are a drabble, a oneshot, a series or a short. Istg i will finally be able to breathe again. This is a very bad habit to have as a graphic designer lol.

that’s it for now! I’ll edit this post if something else comes to mind! phew... about time. Let’s not look back and just keep moving forward together! I know many will not be happy with these changes (especially the first two) but please understand that i need to do this for myself in order to stay organized and have a better environment to work with so i can also, hopefully, be more motivated to write more frequently.
