So, I'm rewatching the Ichigo vs. Grimmjow 11-second fight for fic research, only looking away from the screen to jot down notes. Hubs is watching with me, and gets up at some point and I vaguely hear him rummaging in the kitchen, but pay it no mind (that neurospicy hyper-focus is no joke). I jump when his arm crosses my vision and when he retreats, I see he's put a glass of water on the coffee table. I was about to ask if it was for him and without missing a beat this menace of a man just says, "You looked thirsty."

And then he walks away, fucking smirking as he goes, while this happens onscreen:

Like, there are so many things I want to write, but after being in front of a screen typing and doing clerical work for half a day, my brain no longer wants to sit in front of a screen and type for fun. I've been duped
