My newest blog post feature on @Foster.Kitten.Tips is a broader look at ways people can pitch in to help make a difference. I went over some of this in a recent post here but this is more in depth. If you know someone that would love to help but can't foster, consider sharing this info with them. The clickable link to the whole blog post is in the #LinkTree of my Tips account! . 🔴 There are so many ways to dive in and make a difference in animal rescue. Not everyone is able to foster kittens in their home but that doesn't mean you can't help! 🔴At The Shelter/Rescue: If you can't foster, consider volunteering at a shelter for a couple hours a week. There are so many different ways you can help out at a shelter. They have positions for everything from walking the dogs to feeding the animals to helping customers. Some cities even have kitten nurseries and you can sign up for a shift of bottle feeding & caring for the babies that are too young to be adopted yet. Positions that may be available: Helping adopters with the animals Working tables/booths at events Clerical duties Walking dogs .. CONT. IN BLOG POST ➡️ . 🔴DONATE: Pick up some litter, dry & wet food and some Kitten Formula and drop them off at the shelter/rescue. You can also send items to your favorite foster through their wish list if you can't make it out to a shelter. Drop off food, litter & bedding at your local shelter or rescue Have supplies sent to a foster family via their wish list Purchase humane traps & food for your local TNR organization Donate funds to help rescues, TNR groups & foster families . . . ➡️ 🔴Finally, EDUCATE & SUPPORT. We have to work harder to educate our communities on the importance of spaying & neutering. SHARE posts from your shelters, rescues, your favorite foster families. Like and comment on those posts. . . ❗CONTINUED ON THE BLOG ➡️ Please contact me, Missi, at [email protected] if you have any questions! #volunteer #animalrescue #howcanihelp 🐾 #kittentips #kittenfaq #tips #FosterKittenTips #catsofinstagram #kittensofinstagram #FosterKittens #Kittens #cats #FosterTheFelines https://www.instagram.com/p/BsunzZIg7Sg/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=r09wax82osjq
I get asked about Link Tree a lot so this is what my featured Foster Kitten Tips post is about this week @foster.kitten.tips . One downside of Instagram is that you only get one clickable link in your bio. So if you have multiple accounts that you want to share, you cannot provide a clickable link to all of them. In my case, I have a blog, a YouTube channel, a Facebook page, a list of products we recommend and of course, my wish list. People will be more likely to visit you on other platforms if they can click straight through. This is where Link Tree comes to the rescue. . 🐾 You can find the FULL blog post with instructions on setting up Link Tree in, well, in my Link Tree LOL . 🌳 Link Tree has a free service that allows you to connect your Instagram account and you can put as many links there as you want. ☑ Note: I highly recommend all foster families set up a wish list for their kittens. If you missed that post, you can find the link to that one in my @foster.kitten.tips Link Tree as well. . 📝 If you have any questions DM me at my main account @foster_the_felines_ok or email me, Missi, directly at [email protected]. 🐾 #kittentips #FosterKittenTips 🐾 #litter28 #WhineyKittens #litter26 #RapperKittens #bottlebabies #orphankittens #KittenSeason #catsofinstagram #kittensofinstagram #FosterKittens #Kittens #cats #FosterTheFelines https://www.instagram.com/p/BoyIQawgA05/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=16xpp0q3fm5hk
