Akali sighs pulling the hood of an old cloak further over her face as she heads up the mountain path. She doesn’t know how the residents of Gaoyao feel about assassins or ninja, there wasn’t any information she could locate and It’s not like she helps her own reputation anyway.

This particular path had caught her attention earlier, a curiosity she couldn’t get out of her head. She wants to know where it leads and the answer appears to be a temple. Immediately as she steps into the courtyard a shiver wracks her body as gooseflesh spreads across her arms. Akali spots two things immediately of note a peach tree with a shrine as well as its offerings before it and a woman in a wheelchair. 

Turning her attention to the peach tree she rummages through her bag for a suitable offering, she pulls out a rice ball she bought from a villager earlier and approaches. Once in front of the tree and its shrine she kneels before it placing the wrapped food down carefully. Closing her eyes she listens to the temple around her. Something brushes against her arm and when Akali cracks open an eye to look she spots a mèon , before it bolts off and away from her. 

With a low noise of curiosity she stands and follows the creature.
