Felix’s eyes were furrowed into a scowl as he stared out the window of the empty classroom. Toungue pressing against the inside of his bottom lip, as he waited impatiently for someone to walk through the door.
Glancing around the classroom, Felix leaned back on his chair, slipping down slightly as he tapped on the desk infront of him.
His eyes fell on his scarred knuckles, and he let out a sigh. Fidgeting with the cuts and scratches on his hands and fingers, Felix let his head fall back, looking up to the ceiling.
When hearing the door open Felix’s head quickly lifted, wanting to see who it was, letting his head fall back and a groan from his mouth when he noticed it was just the teacher.
Before said teacher could slam the door closed, your hand quickly stopped it, the teacher turning to you with a confused growl, you matching it with your own pissed off expression and pushing past him to quickly jog to where felix sat.
At the sound of approaching footsteps, felix lifted his head again, a surprised smile on his face as you came closer, crashing into him and throwing your arms around his neck, a relieved sigh coming from you.
“Fuck, Felix, dont do that again.” You breathed, pulling away to look at his face carefully. “I can defend myself, you didn’t need to jump in like that.” With eyes filled with concern for the boy infront of you, you scanned over him carefully, noticing the bruise forming on his cheek, the slightly busted lip, and cut on his eyebrow.
Felix’s eyes flickered down to stare at the floor, before he answered you, voice coming out small in comparison to the way he had acted just under thirty minutes ago.
“I know but I didn’t want anything bad to happen to you, and god knows what he would have done to you.”
Placing your hands on his cheeks you gently tilted his head to get him to look at you, his eyes apologetic, and filled with shame and guilt. At seeing this your gaze softened, as you leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to his forehead.
