That's showbiz baby!
(Context: This is one of the characters I play in Keycraft. Her legal name is Kitty Lix, and she is essentially a popstar/burlesque coded bard who mainly lives and operates in our worlds city of crime. Her backstory is one of a young, ambitious girl who, believing to have found her big break, is manipulated by the city's Crime Boss tm into reducing herself to their underling. Not that she'd ever admit her dissatisfaction with the way her life has turned out! Everything is Fine and Cool and she's Happier than she's ever dreamed of of course! Also she's not a real catgirl, it's just an illusion she puts up as part of her act.)
