Any advice on getting a service mon that's properly trained for the job? Or any advice from experience starting out with King? I've been tossing the idea around in my head for a bit now on account of my.... recent blindness.

I would definitely check the resources in your area! When my anxiety got really bad, I already had King and even as an Eevee he was pretty perceptive. I just reached out to a service Pokémon trainer in my area and they were more than happy to help train him ^-^

As for already trained, sometimes that's a little harder to find but definitely worth searching. Most big cities have some sort of training facility for service Pokémon! I think there are even specific facilities for Seeing Eye Pokémon that would be good to check into!

A good place to start for everything is your local Pokémon Center! They usually have information on how to get started with the whole process. Or even a Pokémon vet?? I know they're not as popular but they'd definitely have the info too!

I hope you can find one that helps you! King's presence has been game-changing for me.

It feels amazing to be married. I love using the word ”wife”. It just always makes my day.

Me and my wife met on NSFW Twitter in May of 2018. She used to follow me there and be my ”fan”. We had many mutuals and one day I saw her on my timeline, tweeting in our mother language and I remember tweeting (read: spamming) her back in a shock, because I hadn’t seen anyone from our country before on NSFW Twitter. After that, I followed her back and dmed her. All I said was ”you” and she said ”me?” and that’s how we started talking nonstop.

At first, we had a long distance relationship, because we lived 500 kilometers away from each other. It was very hard time for us but after almost a year of dating and being together, we were able to meet for the first time.

After the visit, we were both certain that this was finally it. We had found what we were looking for and we were like made for each other. Not long after the first visit (like 3 or 4 months after) my wife proposed to me. We got engaged and she moved in with me.

After 3 years of being engaged, we got married in 2022 and have been enjoying our lives as wives.
