This one / not I / it must be a strange day for identities. It matters very little, really. ( it being — identities? or soma? is either real? ) Soma is not a vampire in the strictest sense, but they are close enough that in, most ways, the distinction without a difference. ( the differences that remain make them more monstrous, not less. ) They want to know why he lets them close / lets them love him. They want to know ——— something else, too.
