Hi! Hopefully you won't mind, but about the glasses thing:
My only experience with it is my cat's Glaucoma diagnosis, which is vastly different but I try to learn as much as I can about this condition cause it's not talked about enough, in both humans and animals. (Forgive me if that sounded insensitive, bringing up the cat part, but she's my first experience with Glaucoma, before I never even knew what it was. And I think that's awful, that the average person doesn't know what Glaucoma is)
From what I know about Glaucoma, it's honestly sickening that they "treated" it with such a useless "treatment", I don't even consider that "treating" it. Like, isn't it really painful?? And yet these people have qualifications to issue useless treatments to ppl who just want to feel better?
Especially given these "doctors" take advantage of the trust that their patients put in them. It's not that WE should know better, THEY deliberately feed us misinformation to get extra pocket money!! I agree that the healthcare system sucks wholeheartedly
Def check with a different doctor, that's absolutely criminal what they did.

Glaucoma is rare so it is normal not to know about it, I also believe that most of us who have it were not born with glaucoma and considering that we involuntarily move our heads to see through the reduced field of vision and how slowly the disease usually acts It is normal for many people to have it but they do not realize it and blame the loss of vision when they are 50~70 years old.
Oh and don't worry, it's not insensitive in any way!!!
