There was no way she’d be able to see the other any differently.

Because he was still her William, deep down. He was still the boy she had grown up with. Had been a fellow student of in their lessons in alchemy. The same William who had been her only friend in a town that had always considered her to be such a nuisance and a disgrace, the same friend who had always stuck by her side and defended her. And-the same William she had fallen in love with years later.

There was no easy way to rid of her memories of their times together. How they had held hands. And how they had kissed, and how he made love with her on certain nights and how gentle he had been-how he never cared that she couldn’t reproduce, despite how anyone else who had been aware of this would consider her useless. How they enjoyed alchemy so much, had such strong skills in it-

He was still there.

Even if he continually tried to avoid her, claiming that he would never be William Hohenheim again-she couldn’t bring herself to see him any differently.

She couldn’t force him to be her William, but there was such a need in her for him to be with her. So she could give him any sense of his humanity back-back to his happiness.

William Hohenheim had died since the moment when his body start to rot for the powerful poison that the mercury could be. In his reborn he wasn´t more William. He don´t wanna come back to be William. To be that poor guy noteless for his father and just another more apprentice for his mother. In the face of Envy, he will be able to do whatever he want, to take all the advantage, to enjoy his revenge of his father. Finally be able to ask why he never truly care for his own son. Everything it would be perfect, except for the fact that Envy, his new "soul", was an excellent liar.

Liar Liar Liar Liar Liar

Because he remember all. All his alchemist lessons, all his chocolate, all his dreams, all his desires, but most important than anything...he remember Kitty. He perfectly remember what they are, and how much perfect they were together. How much happy he was when she was around him, how much completely and belong to that place she could make him feel. Their hugs, their kisses, their nights were his torture in his new life. 

He should suppose to forget all his old memories, but he don´t. But Kitty still alive, and Dante still around them. If he revive and was like "oh Kitty my love you still here come on lets be happy together" probably Dante will end killing her. And he just know that he can´t live in a world without her. That was why he has been so damn cold and push her away always. Because her safe. He was a monster now, so it´s better for her keep away from him. The most away she can. 

He don´t wanna come back to be William, but hell, it´s not for that! It´s for his parents and how he never feel belong to somewhere or someone, but her. Just her. 

She is right and he know that. Why his mother bring him back? Envy, or William, he don´t know who is him anymore, still don´t know the truth intentions of Dante, but he is sure that it´s not like she missed him. No. He has a mission...but, what?

"Don´t make this more difficult for us, Kitty. I told you its better for you if you keep yourself away from me. I will never come back to be your William. The boy you met, and loved, died years ago poisoned. Remember it, and you will be safe"
