Owww, my heart during that confrontation scene between Alec and Joseph. May I ask what was going on in Joseph's head during this scene? And where Adora is during all this?

Joseph’s brain was basically the equivalent of falling down the side of a cliff and trying to stop yourself with nothing but your fingers. He wanted to be reasonable, but then Alec made him angry and said something that hurt him, so he lashed out, but then he immediately regretted it and remembered what happened the last time he did that, so he adulted the hell up and pulled back.

Adora was.......... not there? I actually don’t know, there was no context for this in my head, but except for the thing where they were both in prison Alec always talks to his parents one on one because it feels easier that way. He would’ve picked a time when she was out on purpose.

Alec talking to his mom would be more complicated, because it would basically be that earlier anon that asked me why she didn’t stop it and Adora having to balance being honest with not losing him all over again.
