Just after sunrise they started walking. It took time, but Boui did her best with her small feet.
Some short breaks were needed, it gave them the opportunity to talk about this and everything, learn about flowers and trees. It was a great day.
When they arrived at the camp there was kind of a hullaballoo. Everybody was running around looking for one puppy that was lost. Buoi was a bit overwhelmed.
- Uuuuahhh! Mommy!!
- Come on Boui, go play now with the kids. Mommy is talking with Momo now.
- Uuuuuaaahhh!
- Don’t be sad! Erye tried to comfort her. Come let me show you the mama-dog. Just let her smell you, then you can pet her.
- Good dog! Buoi was less afraid of the dogs than the humans.
- Come! You want to pet the puppy?
- Yes! Come to Boui puppy!! Ahhh! It licked me!!
- That means it want to be your friend, Pah explained. It’s good to see how caring she is, he said to ‘kny. Maybe you want to take home one of them?
- Good grief no! We have too much on our hands already! Even though it is tempting. They are very sweet!
- They are. Unfortunately we can’t keep both of them, so if you hear about somebody wanting a dog, let me know!
They had an absolutely wonderful day. The only problem was, as one could expect, that Boui wanted to take the puppy with her.
- Oh Boui dear, we just can’t take it home! The puppy needs its mama-dog you know!
- Dag, dag puppies! Boui will come back later to take you home, Boui whispered.
