It's really fucking racist that I had seen KJM's artwork on this site before, but completely stripped of its context and the identity of the Black artist who painted it.

black bodies are trendy and have aesthetic appeal but only when divorced from Blackness itself and aestheticized into something "consumable" for anyone, free of context, guilt, and consequence. this is just another extension of colonialism manifesting in the very way we enjoy and share artwork and that is horrific to me.
