Music reviews will be a priority of the blog right now...

I need to work on things before the end of the year and I'm kinda opinioned out at the moment.

I will still post some opinions obviously...but my focus will be on music.

The pressure for idols to be prefect.

Idols are always expected to be prefect. Makeup on, hair prefect, outfits amazing, always happy, and more. That's a lot to ask of a human being because nobody is prefect all the time, but for idols, they get no breaks at all. Because the second someone see something less than perfect, it can become a big deal online.

To me it's one of the most confusing things because no matter what the idol can't win. And they get pressured over everything or canceled for the most simple things that most people do on the daily basis.

I also think social media has made this worse. Fans can see idols constantly through livestreams, posts, videos, and behind the scenes content, so there's always something for people to criticize. At the same time, we're constantly reminded that idols are human and deserve privacy and breaks.

I think it's completely fair to hold idols accountable when they genuinely do something wrong. But there's a difference between holding someone accountable and expecting them to never make a mistake. Being idol doesn't mean being perfect.

At the end of the day, I think we need to remember that we're watching real people, not character who are supposed to act perfectly all the time.

My on repeat right now

Overflow-Evan, I generally love this song so much its not even funny. Like its so beautify and amazing. His voice sounds so good and the visual they posted for it actually makes me tear up. I think I've cried to this song multiped times, not that its that hard any song can make me cry.

Fri(end)s-V, another song that I don't play about. It's been in my top five most played songs of the year since it came out. It's also going to be my poster inspo for the concert next week. But this song is so good even though I can't really relate to it, its still good.

Blue lips-cortis, when it first came out I was like hmm this is intresting and then I kept listening and looked at the lyrics and was in shock the lips are actually very deep and honestly its just a great song.

Smeradlo Garden Marching Band-Jimin. This is a newer one on the repeat list but its been on my headphones so much I actually really like it, maybe cause I'm in marching band.

Back to life-Han. I fear any and all Han songs will be on my repeat forever. I love his music because not only the lyrics but also the music videos, his voice, the story telling and the guitar parts(which most have). I love them so much.

What makes a comeback good

With how many comebacks happen every year, I've wondering what actually makes a comeback good? Is it the music, the concept, the music video, or the whole album.

For me, the music is the most important part. A comeback can have a amazing concept and teaser, but if I don't like the songs, I'm not going to remember it. I also love when the B-sides fit with the title track and make the album feel complete.

I think the concept matters too. It doesn't have to be completely original, but I love when the concept is clear and the group commits to it. The styling, choreography, and music video can make an era much more memorable.

But I think the biggest thing is whether I keep coming back to it. Some songs sound great the first time but I never listen to them again, while others stay on my playlist for months. To me, that's what makes a comeback successful.

A comeback doesn't have to break record or go viral to be good. Sometimes it's just about making music that people genuinely enjoy. So what makes a comeback good to you?
