💔tell us about one of your LEAST favorite characters and why you dislike them.

Speaking in TF terms, my least favorite character varies wildly from ‘verse to ‘verse. Like, I’m fond of Cyberverse/TFA Optimuses, but nooooot so much TFP/IDW Optimuses. And I’m super ehh about TFA Perceptor, but Cyberverse Perceptor? Heck yeah.

I really don’t have strong feelings about why I dislike someone? It’s usually just ‘eh, I don’t care for them?’ Like, I don’t particularly care for Tailgate? But it’s more of a ‘I don’t like how the fandom tends to infantilize him’? But......I’ve dumped a whole rant about Soundwave. Whomst I love. But cannot STAND what happened to his characterization in IDW.

Like, he had so much potential: he was trying to turn the Decepticons towards a better path, he was ACTIVELY trying to make nice with Autobots since Dark Cybertron, etc etc etc 

But he spends his whole ‘redemption arc’ (if you could call it that--I don’t think anyone ever explicitly said it was?) hating Optimus (which, can’t blame him), but then flip flops due to blackmail and goes off and calls OP ‘old friend’ (which. eugh.), becomes religious (despite previously suffering under the functionist regime/explicitly saying he will work with anyone but a prime), waxes poetical about the wrongs he’s committed in the last couple years and never comes to any resolution, and what irritates me the most is the fact that ALL the war crimes he committed during the events leading up to, during, and right after the war? The fact that we’re supposed to believe he literally didn’t think organics were sentient until he read their minds (and it’s lauded as this HUGE accomplishment when he figures it out when like. autobots believed it? and they’re not telepaths?) Literally never get mentioned.

Post-Dark Cybertron, he’s lauded as this ‘ohhh he was the one true Decepticon, he had a sense of morals and see? he was secretly a good guy all along! see! even when he was driving someone crazy, even when he helped starscream murder the senate and turned his old boss into a cassette and killed people and helped attempt to overthrow the new cybertronian government? he was secretly this good, moral person. the best.’

I know it’s due to the fact that the comics spanned 13 IRL years and had many, many authors, and part of it is also probably due to John Barber’s take on the OP + Soundwave relationship. But honestly, I really really wish they could’ve given Soundwave getting a proper redemption arc by taking a deep dive into all the legitimately awful things he’s done. And yes, his redemption arc might’ve ended the same way it did in canon--he dies helping save the universe. But it would’ve felt a lot more satisfying, y’know?

12. What’s a skill or craft they would like to master, but haven’t?

dancing :) but eventually she does... hehe

15. Do they believe in getting revenge on those who wrong them? If so, how do they go about it?

tua is stubborn and she has a long memory, but i dont think she would actively seek revenge... that being said id love to explore that angle a bit. fo4 is really all about how you choose to change, and in tua’s case her plot is focused on choosing to be at peace with urself. there USED to be a version where she really did decide to leave town after finding out the truth abt tomás, and if u asked me what a dark timeline tua would look like, its that.... she gets very cruel and bitter. in that case, revenge would definitely be a tool in her arsenal. she’s the kind to bite and not let go

29. What do they do/act like when they’re angry?

tua shuts down... but this is true of most of her “negative” emotions!! she locks up and kind of gets lost in her own head. she can disappear in a physical sense for a while too. and if you’ve pissed her off in the past, this will show up again basically from there on out. she’ll give you the cold shoulder... she’ll lock up on u

34. What percentage of their life have they felt truly alive?

o this makes me emo.... probably if you were to tally it all up, maybe 50-60%. tua was incredibly, incredibly disconnected from herself for most of her life... just surviving, in both a physical and emotional sense. its really only from her forties onward that she really... clicks.

Q- Quiver (how they react to their S/O being scared)

Sameer’s reaction to when I’m afraid/scared is to hold me very close so my face is buried into his neck and chest and will ask what it is that has me feeling such a way as he strokes my hair.

He will curl into/around me in a similar manner while i rub a hand along his back if something has him scared/afraid.

W- Wink (how they flirt with their S/O)

Abe is Bad at flirting. He either can’t get the words to leave his mouth, or fumbles the words and has to stop and think about what he was going to say before saying it again.

Flirting with Abe is entertaining as hell because he’s easily flustered and his gills give away how much of a reaction it actually got out of him.

unpopular onion: the riddler is overrated there i finally said it LMAO!

Haha! I’m not actually super active in the Batman fandom so I can’t really pick a side in this argument. I only watched “The Batman” growing up and I still haven’t gotten around to watching TAS, so I don’t have much info on Riddler. However, I can totally see how annoying it would be for one villain to get more attention over the others, when there’s such a big rogues gallery.

black cat, enchanted, haunt, and skeleton for the halloween asks :o

black cat: i like hearing stories about the chupacabra! the navajo's skinwalkers also amaze me. the mothman. just spooky tales in general.

enchanted: the monster from the 80s movie the thing really traumatized me as a kid lol

haunt: absolutely! true story: one time i come across a book that was pretty much left behind in a house by a family that moved away. it was a printed collection of beautiful photos of native americans. as soon as i brought home, it started to cause problems with my mom such as severe sleep paralysis and panic attacks. sadly, i had to give it away. it belongs to an art professor now... also ive been to the haunted museum full of creepy artifacts (including the dibbuk box) in las vegas; it was so cool.

skeleton: i honestly don't scare that easily, but my biggest fear would have to be losing my family as they are my only support i have in this life.
