Thank you for your answer. That's a Wrap was a second book of the klaine book project. I read that there were both print and digital copies as well and since those are no longer available I hoped tere was a way to see them in a digital book form all together anyway, because from what i've seen on tumblr those looks awesome and a nice collection. But I'll check out the fics on AO3, thank you! ❤️
I've asked a few people who have been around the fandom for a while. No one knows where you can download the digital books of the Klaine Book Project. In addition to the AO3 collection, you can search #klainebookproject2014 on Tumblr. You will see some of the artwork and drabbles created. - HKVoyage
My fic for the Klaine Book Project, set just after the episode "Heart." Please check out my lovely and talented artist, dreamingpartone!
Read all four drabbles on AO3.
Best of All
Kurt can’t help but feel annoyed when all the New Directions’ members rush at Blaine the moment Love Shack is finished, lavishing him with hugs and a million and one questions, and Blaine soaks it up. But then his eyes find Kurt’s over Rachel’s shoulder, and his face softens. Even after so many months, Kurt feels a fluttering in his stomach. There is nothing in the world like the look Blaine has just for him.
Ten minutes later Blaine excuses himself to go to the restroom, and only Mike notices when Kurt moves discretely to follow. He winks, smiling, and Kurt smiles back.
Kurt has barely turned the knob before Blaine is reaching through the door, dragging him inside and pressing him against it. A soft kiss and then Kurt’s arms are full of boy, his heart overflowing with love and affection. Everything feels right again, and he doesn’t want to move.
Blaine sighs then shuffles back a few inches, his head falling to Kurt’s shoulder with his forehead pressed into Kurt’s neck. Blaine’s hand finds his, squeezing, and Kurt knows he doesn’t have to explain how much Blaine’s presence means.
Instead he says, “I brought your gift. It’s in the car.”
Kurt can’t see his face, but he feels Blaine’s brow furrow in confusion against his skin… or maybe it’s just that he knows Blaine, knows him that intuitively.
“How did you know I’d be here?” Blaine asks.
“I, umm, well…” Heat blossoms under Kurt’s skin as he tells Blaine about the gifts he received all week, about his meeting a little more than an hour ago with Karofsky, who he thought would be Blaine.
He expects Blaine to be angry, but instead all he says is, “I wish I’d had his idea. You might have been less lonely this past week.”
Kurt turns his face into Blaine’s hair, inhaling the familiar scent of raspberry gel and cologne. “I don’t care. I’m just so happy you’re here with me now.”
Blaine lifts his head, but right now space is the last thing Kurt wants, so he clings to Blaine’s shoulders as Blaine moves to face him.
“I do have something for you, but it’s... I’m afraid we’ll have to abandon the party. We can go back first for a bit, if you like?”
Kurt thinks about it for a moment. The party had been a lot of fun, at least after Blaine arrived, and they hadn’t been there long. To be fair, their friends had seen Blaine even less than he had over the past month while Blaine recovered.
But he doesn’t want to think about everyone else right now, and he doesn’t really want fun, either. He wants closeness.
He cups Blaine’s face and kisses him, long and lingering and sweet. When he pulls back, their noses brush, their breath mingling, and his attention is drawn to Blaine’s eye. For the first time in weeks, it looks completely normal.
Gently, he traces the shape of it, trailing his thumb across the lid. “Does it hurt?” he has to ask.
Blaine reaches up to cover Kurt’s hand with his own, his lips catching on the flesh of Kurt’s palm. “Barely.”
“Let’s go,” Kurt says, his eyes falling closed. “I want to be with you.”
They slip out the bathroom door and push through one across the hall that reads Employees Only, and miraculously nobody notices. In the middle of the kitchen sits a small table, set far too decadently for its surroundings, and two matching chairs. There is candlelight and soft music, tiny cakes and hot tea and coffee. But best of all, Kurt thinks, there is Blaine.
Yes, this is my submission for the Klaine Book Project! It's 565 words (I think) of early, season 2 Klaine. I just want to thank Jess, for kicking me in the ass when I was having trouble with the plot in my head that wouldn't go anywhere, the KBP crew, for giving me this opportunity, and especially, my partner-in-crime, Masha, for being the best art-companion, and drawing the best art(!!!!!!!!!!) I could ask for!
Kurt was nervous. He'd thought about his choices for awhile, weighing the pros and cons of both options. Once he had made his decision, he'd started planning on how to tell Blaine. Really, he probably thought about telling Blaine more than he thought about actually transferring.
Blaine was just one of the reasons he was going to miss Dalton, but he was by far the biggest. Westerville and Lima were hours apart--if they weren't t the same school anymore, they'd only get to see each other on weekends. That was practically a long-distance relationship.
In the end, he tried not to think too much about and decided to just "go with the flow." He'd tell Blaine he was leaving when the time was right. Whenever that was.
"So... I think I'm going to transfer back to McKinley." Apparently, that time was now.
Blaine turned his head to look at Kurt, startled at the sudden admission. "What?" he asked, his face scrunched up in confusion.
They'd used their lunch hour to enjoy the campus, something Kurt had loved to do ever since he started there, and the midday sun was shining down on them, making their normal school uniforms hotter than usual. Kurt has a nervous feeling in the put of his stomach, wondering how Blaine would take his news.
"Don't get me wrong--I love it here, and I've grown quite fond of the people, too," he smiled at Blaine, cocking his head forward, "bit McKinley is my home. I miss all of my friends, and I miss seeing my dad everyday." He noted the sad look on Blaine's face. "You're not mad, are you?"
Blaine's eyes widened comically, and Kurt would've laughed if it wasn't for the situated at hand. "Why would I be mad, Kurt?"
Kurt shrugged. "Well - I just - you've been so nice to me, and I just kind of feel like I'm leaving you."
"It's okay. Really. We can still have our coffee dates at the Lima Bean, and you won't be a Warbler anymore, but you can still come to our bi-weekly get-togethers. Of course I'm going to miss you, but if it's what you want to do, then you should do it.." The look of almost-guilt on Kurt's face mad him worry. "This doesn't mean we're - breaking up... does it?"
Kurt shook his head frantically. "No! Of course not!" He held Blaine's hand tighter. That was the farthest from what he wanted. "Like you said, we're still going to have dates, and the New Directions love when you're around. It won't be any different than it is now, I swear."
Nodding to himself, Blaine smiled, letting out a relieved breath. "Okay. Good. That's good." He looked down at the grass, his fingers still entwined with Kurt's. "I'm really gonna miss you, you know."
Kurt nodded, laying his head on his boyfriend's shoulder. "I'm gonna miss you, too, But, I promise, eventually it'll be like I never left." He picked his head back up, smiling brightly. Even though he had mixed feelings about going back to McKinley, he was happy Blaine had taken it so well. "Okay, no more talking about this; we'll deal with it later." He paused for a moment, finally decided on a subject that he knew would brighten Blaine's mood. "Tell me more about you next performance at Kings Island."
This little ficlet is my contribution to the klaine book project.
Summary: Kurt and Blaine at the wedding that wasn't and how they ended up together in a hotel room. This wasn't supposed to happen. Maybe. (4.14. reaction fic)
The art: Above is just a pic from the book of the sensational art done by i-wanna-be-a-klaine-ship-ranger who I'm tagging below in the hopes that she'll post the original. I wanted to publish the story with it because it adds so much.
Tempting Fate
This wasn’t supposed to happen.
Then Blaine asked him to sing a duet together when they were on the phone the night before. That should have been the first warning sign. Because he really wants to pin some of this now complicated situation on Blaine, even if he had been the one to push Blaine down in the backseat of his rental car and accidentally start kissing him. They were supposed to be getting Rachel’s lipstick that she had left there. Blaine had offered to go with him, and he did look especially handsome in his tuxedo, so what was he supposed to do? The answer was obvious at the time. And Blaine wasn’t objecting.
So singing a duet wasn’t part of the plan. Making out in the backseat of a car wasn’t part of the plan. But Blaine happens to be very skilled in that area and he happens to know what Kurt can’t resist. It doesn’t mean anything. Everyone hooks up at weddings.
Kurt sits down at the now not-wedding reception table, still dizzy from the high of singing with Blaine, to the rush of frustration at Tina for her unprovoked confrontation when she was the one overinvolved in Blaine’s life. But Blaine smiles sweetly at him from across the room, two glasses of punch in hand as he makes his way over.
“Punch, no ice. And a baby cupcake,” Blaine places down the glass and mini treat and sits down beside him, knocking against his side. Kurt wants to squeeze his hand or kiss his cheek because Blaine is always thoughtful like that. Baby cupcake. He smiles instead and listens and responds as Blaine chatters lightly on about the color scheme of the decorations (the Valentines theme is a little overdone), Quinn and Santana’s fake id’s (no surprises there), and the latest Glee club love triangle (which one is Marley again?). It feels like it’s supposed to feel. Or how it’s not supposed to feel. He can’t decide which one. But it’s easy and happy and Blaine is so handsome. Whatever happened in the car is so obviously unfinished.
Kurt knows he’s a good performer. He can do this. It doesn’t matter how it feels - right or wrong - because they’re just friends. But he can have this tonight.
“Oh my god, Kurt. Check out Artie and Ms Pillsbury’s niece. Do you think they’re going to-” Kurt covers Blaine’s hand with his own before he can change his mind, and Blaine stops talking. Blaine looks at their hands and then up at Kurt. “Kurt? What-”
Kurt shakes his head willing Blaine not to ask, steeling himself, even though he knows that his eyes might give him away. He looks away, instead focusing on their hands, interlacing their fingers. “Would you like to dance?”
Kurt sees Blaine biting back his questions - Like, didn’t you spend the last hour repeating that we’re just friends? “I’d love to,” Blaine answers simply as Kurt leads them to the dance floor. Blaine’s arms wrap around him as the music plays and Kurt lets go. For tonight only, he puts his head on Blaine’s shoulder, kisses his cheek, and after breathing in Blaine’s heady combination of boy and raspberries, leads Blaine to a room upstairs. Things are not finished.
“Are you sure?” Kurt double checks with Blaine as they step out of the elevator.
“I’m sure,” Blaine answers without a hint of uncertainty.
“This doesn’t mean that -”
“I’m sure,” Blaine says again as Kurt opens the door. “Sometimes things happen,” Blaine offers in explanation.
“Even when you think it’s not supposed to?” Kurt asks.
“Who said I think it’s not supposed to?” Blaine says teasing with flirtation, but he means it.
Damn him. But he takes hold of Blaine’s fancy black skinny tie, pulls him inside, and closes the door.
This was my contribution to the klainebookproject. For the book, this ficlet was illustrated by the amazing hoshidess. I'd like to thank her for the collaboration, and mailroomorder for reading this over for me, and also all of the organisers behind the project. You guys are the awesomest of all the awesome! <3

Having a boyfriend is pretty great, Blaine decides. Having a boyfriend who is also your best friend is simply the best thing in the world. There's kissing now, so much kissing when they're alone, and hand-holding, and long, warm, drawn-out hugs that make his chest swell with tenderness when Kurt wraps his arms around his back and presses his face against the side of his neck, his hot breath raising goosebumps on the skin just above Blaine's collar.
He's happier than he's ever been in his entire life and he wants to shout it from the rooftops, wants to dance and sing about it where everyone can hear, wants to let everyone know how he feels about Kurt. Wonderful, amazing, beautiful Kurt, who, by some stroke of luck, feels the same for him.
Yet as easy as it is to be boyfriends in private, Blaine still has no idea what to do about it around their friends. He's not afraid of their judgment; these boys have stood by his side when he made a fool of himself in public so many times.
But this is different. This is real. This is important. What he feels for Kurt is so big, so much more. And does Kurt even want them to know? Kurt needs to be safe above all else. So Blaine sits next to him at their Warblers' rehearsal, close but not too close just the same way it's been ever since Kurt transferred here. And it occurs to him that there is no simple way to just announce this.
They're sharing a couch as they usually do, Wes going on and on about setlists in the background, and Blaine can't stop sneaking glances at his boyfriend, blushing every time Kurt catches him. And they both quickly look away, embarrassed little smiles twitching at the corners of Blaine's mouth. It's a thrill, kind of, to be sitting in the midst of all these boys sharing a secret only they know.
He can feel the heat radiating off of Kurt's body, is acutely aware of every little movement he makes, every little hum of acknowledgment when Wes says something he agrees with, every little huff of his breath when he disagrees. Every part of him is aware of every part of Kurt and nothing has ever felt more right; he feels every inch that separates them as well as the smooth edges of the space surrounding them, hugging them in into their own little bubble of only them and their newly revealed feelings for each other.
He's staring again, and this time when Kurt turns his head, sharply as if expecting to catch Blaine off guard, he doesn't lower his eyes. Instead, he smiles, just a small smile, just the joyful beating of his own happy heart that can't be contained any longer. And Kurt smiles back, a slow, almost shy little smile, and Blaine can't believe this is his life, can't believe he could ever be this lucky.
“You're distracting me, stop it,” Kurt whispers, smile turning into a grin. “Rehearsal is important!”
Blaine keeps his eyes on him, shakes his head, just a little, whispers back, “I'm not doing anything! You're the one distracting me!”
Kurt huffs out a quiet laugh, shifting just a fraction of an inch, his body inclining towards Blaine's in just the tiniest of movements. And it's enough, Blaine understands, lets his hand fall to the fabric of the couch between them. It's an offer, it's all that he dares to do with everything so new, so fragile, so unspoken. But Kurt, his brave, beautiful Kurt, blushes to the roots of his hair, reaches out, and boldly takes his hand in his own, eyes lowering to where their fingers thread tightly together. He bites his lip, eyelashes fluttering as he looks back up at Blaine with a satisfied little smirk, and Blaine feels his heart hammering in his chest, so hard his breath is coming faster. He holds onto him tighter, grins back at him.
There's something tall and challenging about Kurt when he looks back at the room, and Blaine turns his head too. There's only smiles for them. And Blaine is content sitting here with his hand in Kurt's, being Kurt's Blaine for all the world to see. Nothing has ever felt better.
YAY! I can now officially show you my contribution to the Klaine Book Project. Here we have Kurt and Blaine showing love and support for each other on the red carpet the first time one of them is nominated for a big theater award.
My piece for the klaine book! The unseen moment i chose was klaine coming home from a long rainy day out in NY! Ah i wish we had more of them just going out in the city, so much beauty in it! *3*
