Assignments are due TOMORROW (December 28)!

Hi everyone!

We’re fast approaching the time for everyone to turn in their gifts! The due date is tomorrow, December 28th at 11:59pm Eastern Time. If you do not know what the time difference is between Eastern Time and your city, you can go to the world clock and check your city against New York, which is in that time zone.

A few reminders:

If you are offering more than one gift type that your giftee requested, you can decide which one you want to make yourself or can ask them anonymously about their preference. You are NOT allowed to create a gift type that your giftee did not request.

This goes for ratings and genre requests too; do not stray outside of your giftee’s requests unless asked.

Please contact us right away if you cannot complete your assignment so that we can assign a pinch hitter in your stead. If you are going to be late we need to know as soon as possible so that the pinch hitter has enough time to make a gift!

If you do not complete your work by the due date and have not informed us, we will assign a pinch hitter. If that pinch hitter is assigned before you get in touch with us, you will have to forfeit your assignment.

It’s extremely important that you comment on your gifts. Everyone puts a lot of work into their assignments and deserve proper credit for their efforts. Spread that holiday cheer!

I'm just saying that this fandom is so embarrassing like a magazine really? Meet the blogger? No thanks why can't you guys not be normal so I can actually be in the fandom but I can't associate with it despite me loving klaroline because of this crap like so humiliatingly embarrassing! I hate to disappoint anon, I really do but unfortunately fun, silly, trivial things like being featured as a blogger in a fake magazine based on a fictional couple excites me. I now have a false sense of achievement. There. I said it.

I’m a human. It’s nice being recognised amoungst your peers what can I say.

The magazine is literally just some fun anon. It’s a way of the fandom uniting and a platform for authors.

I understand why you’d deem it a little pretentious and extra but hey we’re an kind of an extra fandom.

Why can’t you guys be normal?

That’s a broad statement. Are any of us shippers and fan girls/boys really quote unquote ‘normal’? One could argue even having a blog and caring that much about two fictional characters (who arent even together on their fictional show) isn’t normal behaviour.

I have news for you hun. You don’t have to be part of the fandom. You can ship Klaroline in your own private corner and go about your business.

I’m sorry we’re such an embarrassment to you. But frankly anon I think you’re being silly. It’s not that serious. If you think the mag is cringe worthy fine but it’s nothing to get fired up over.

If the irritation persists might I suggest yoga? Aroma therapy, green tea? Or maybe just a very large chill pill.

KLAROLINE COUNTDOWN - WEEK 1 ANNOUNCEMENT

Our event is shaping up to be one of our best and you’re all invited! If you missed our initial post we are going to be doing a TO season 5 event. We’re talking 13 weeks of non-stop, unabashed Klaroline admiration and goodness. If you missed it the first time, this is what we’re doing. 

- Five themed week-long events to coincide with the Candice KIng Original episodes to submit your best graphics, gif sets, drabbles, videos, and aesthetics. The first week’s theme has already been chosen, but the other four will be put to a fandom vote, so get those suggestions ready!  

- All other weeks in between will consist of blog games, quizzes, asks, mutual appreciation, and general fandom fun and interaction.

What’s coming up for week one?

Glad you asked! Given we’re less than a week out to begin our countdown, the first theme has been chosen so you can start to put your goodies together. Drumroll please....

“There’s A Whole World Out There Waiting For You” 

Yes, we all know the famous quote Klaus uttered in 3x11 but we also agree that there’s a whole world of us waiting for Klaroline to reunite too! He wanted to take her to Rome, Paris, and Tokyo in 3x14 and promised that perhaps one day she’d let him show her the world in 3x20 (not to mention his promise in 4x20 to show her New Orleans too). 

Well, it looks like the time has come given our favourite baby vamp is set to arrive in Europe ready to go all Caroline Forbes on his sorry hybrid ass as only she can! 

Let your imaginations run wild with gifsets, graphics, drabbles, videos and aesthetics! We’d love to see your perfect reunion scenarios, your parallels with past episodes, exotic destinations and maybe even an international spin on those million new Klaroline gifs the first episode will surely create.

The Klaroline magazine and the whole blogger interviews is by far some of the cringeworthy shit I have ever laid eyes upon. You guys should all be embarrassed and this is coming from something who loves klaroline but who hates the despicable fandom.

This is perhaps the most strange and unnecessarily strong reaction to something so trivial I’ve ever seen? ??

How dare this fandom be creative and passionate by creating a magazine!? How embarrassing is this fandom for not conforming to normal fandoms and creating a community. You should be ashamed for highlighting other people’s work and giving them recognition. How tragic is this fandom for having the talent to create a magazine, to unite the fandom, to discourage toxicity. I can’t handle the talent in this fandom.
