We don’t talk enough about how Lucas was doing fantasy lobotomies on bugbears. I really hate that dude.

The Adventure Zone 💕
Some more TAZ stuff. My bugbear son deserves more! A good husband will do (yes, apparently i have a type of characters i’m mad protective about haha).
I’m mad tired but my schedule will keep me in this condition for about a two weeks, so no normal drawings apperently (which pains me i want to draw like a madman)
So I’m running a party of four through the TAZ Balance Arc. I made a few character choices modifying NPCs based on personal preference, namely making Klarrg a “civilized” bugbear by default because my party didn’t have charm and wouldn’t have used it anyway. Additionally, the goblins were a mix of classic goblins and nicer ones, mostly due to my party’s goblin bard whose player is very creative... God I’m glad I planned ahead.
First of all, Iolo, the goblin bard chose to infiltrate the goblin compound by himself. He succeeded, and actually convinced the other goblins that “Big Boss” wanted the prisoners themselves and was getting rid of Klarrrg. As such, the rest of the party were assassins sent by this nonexistent “Big Boss”. Anyway, fast forward to the party coming face to face with Klarrg... Similar to Tres Horny Boys, my players decide to chat with Klarrg instead of killing him, ultimately buying Barry Bluejeans...
...With four gold’s worth of tomatoes.
When Klarrrg shows up again, I think he and the five “goodish” goblins he spared are going to own a salsa company.
