after what felt like centuries, brooklyn was finally on the up and up again. he’s passing the heart and lung tests with ease, running around with his friends, going to soccer practice - though the coach is adamant on not letting him play until next season starts. the stitches were finally removed from his sides, and though he despises the marks they’ve left in his skin he’s just reminding himself that he survived the attempted murder. to top it all off, things with tobias were finally back to normal. they were happy again, and together, and going on dates and holding hands and doing normal couple things. he was happy -- and he finally felt a sense of normalcy. he’s padding across his dorm’s living room, straddling tobias’ waist as his head tilts to the side. “whatcha doing?” he questions, slowly grinding his hips down as his head tilts to the side. “other than not paying attention to me,” he pouts, his nose scrunching as he gazes down at his boy friend.
