If Kleis’ body is like a mirage, you may wonder...where is her soul?
The “cursed star” bit could be irrelevant, but the fact that common folk cannot see, hear, or touch Kleis because even her physical form is just a mirage paints Kleis as some strange celestial being, one who somehow ties into Zero Time’s Temple of the Outer Maidens and the existence of the Maiden Square on Southern Cross Island.
Oh and nice hair extensions Wako’s wearing there!
Wako gets to sing the chorus verse of her song to kick off this play (this was likely planned as part of a “Wako arc” after all), and it does well to set the right mood. If you’re expecting a silly “It’s Cinderella-ish” type of episode, it’s not gonna be that though it’s not without its comedic bits here and there. This one is gonna be heavy on the lore.
