Paradise Lost

What if Knives has dreams where his original plan worked and he and his brother are amicably defending their own paradise? Does Knives dream of the childlike spontaneity and closeness that was between them on the spaceship?

Me: Sometimes friends are just friends, I don't see Vash and Nicholas together. This was hardly provided for by the canon.

Me (also): Knives has gone off the rails because he loves his brother too much and doesn't want to share him with anyone else. And he probably wants Vash... you know, physically.

Okay, I really feel extremely embarrassed by the fact that I enjoyed ship with the twins. Damn, in fact, I would look at a dystopia where Knives gets his way, destroys humanity and forces Vash to help, motivating it by the fact that there are no people left anyway, and the two of them still need to take care of their sisters.
