Shintaro Midorima
Your desk was practically a battlefield of notebooks, problem sheets and an open math textbook. No matter how many practice problems you’d done, the solution never seemed to add up. Frustration finally prevailed and you dropped your head onto your arms and let the hot tears come about. “Am I stupid?” you whispered, voice breaking. Angry with the stupid math problems and angry at yourself. “I study and study and still don’t get it. What’s wrong with me?” Your boyfriend had momentarily stepped out for a moment to get snacks and returned to find you like this. Midorima paused in the doorway, then crossed the room and sat down beside you.
“…Y/N,” he said low. “Why are you crying?”
You wiped your face with the palm of your hand, embarrassed. “I-I can’t do this. I’ve tried and it’s not working.” Midorima set the bag of snacks gently on the desk, then whipped out a neatly folded handkerchief from his pocket and placed it in front of you. He adjusted his glasses and waited. When you didn’t take it at once he pushed it a bit closer. “Use it." he said “Continuing to cry will only fatigue you further.”
You accepted the cloth, sniffing. “I just feel so dumb.” For a long moment he said nothing. But after a bit of thinking, very quietly, he spoke again. “…You are being far too severe with yourself. This difficulty is not an indication of intelligence, it is an indication of method. The way it is taught does not suit your process.” He tapped the edge of your notebook with a careful fingertip, as if measuring the where to begin. “Allow me to demonstrate another approach. I will adapt the problem into steps you can visualize. We will schedule short sessions, consistent, efficient. You will learn this.”
You leaned forward and wrapped your arms around him on impulse. He stiffened for half a breath. Midorima is not the sort of man who knew how to welcome sudden displays of affection. But yet, after the smallest of hesitations, he placed one hand at your back. “…Do not apologize for needing help,” he murmured, voice softer than before. “It is illogical to suffer without assistance. I will always be here to help you. After all it is my job as your partner." You let out a shaky laugh and hid your face against his shoulder. “Thank you so much Shin.”

Daiki Aomine
You were sat on Aomine’s bed, knees pulled to your chest, trying to quiet the uneven breaths that kept breaking out of you. When he finally came back in from playing ball, towel slung around his neck, he froze at the sight of you wiping at your face.
“Y/N?,” he muttered, shutting the door behind him. “What happened, what the hell are you cryin for?” You shook your head quickly. “It’s nothing. I’m fine.”
“Yeah, like I’m buyin’ that.” He tossed the towel aside and crossed the room, crouching down in front of you. His brows knitted together, eyes narrowing in a way that made your chest tighten. “Talk to me baby." You swallowed, your voice small. “…I just… sometimes I feel like you don’t take me seriously. Like I’m just another girl to you.”
For a second, silence. Then his lips parted, a sharp exhale leaving him. “…Are you serious right now?” You avoided his gaze, shoulders curling in. “I know your reputation, Daiki. And I don’t-" Before you could finish, his hands were cupping your face, thumbs brushing gently against your damp cheeks.
“Listen to me. You’re the only one I’ve ever taken seriously. The only one.” His grip softened, but he didn’t let you look away. “Don’t ever compare yourself to anyone else. I love you and literally only you."
He watched you, and when you didn’t look convinced, his expression softened. “I'm deadass. I’m an ass sometimes. I’m loud, I’m selfish, I don’t say things how I should. But I’m not-I won’t just walk away. Got it? I ain’t gonna dip on you. Ever.”
Your tears welled again, but this time from relief. You nodded, leaning into his touch. “You really mean that?” He gave a short laugh, pulling you into his chest so your face pressed into his shirt. “Dumbass. Course I do.” His hand slid up and down your back, his voice muffled in your hair. “Stop cryin already. You’re killin me here.”

Ryouta Kise
You were laying on Kise’s bed, scrolling through your phone. Your chest tightened with every photo you saw. Kise with other models. Kise smiling, perfect angles, perfect hair, perfect everything. You were happy to have a boyfriend so perfect, but the comments only made you feel undeserving. “He’s out of everyone’s league.” “Lucky whoever gets him.” "His girlfriend could never match up to him." You didn’t realize your eyes were stinging until Kise walked in. “Y/Nchii?!What’s wrong?” You quickly turned your face, wiping at your eyes. “It’s nothing.”
He frowned immediately, jumping besides you on the bed. “Don’t you dare lie to me. You’re crying. Why?” The words slipped out before you could stop them. “…I just don’t get it. Why me? You could have anyone. I'm so ugly compared to you Ryouta.." His eyes widened and his face was just filled with pure sadness hearing you say that about yourself. “Don't you ever say that again.”
He grabbed your hands, squeezing them tight. “You think I’d ever waste my time on ‘anyone’? Y/Nchi, it’s you. I love you. Every thing about you.” Your lip trembled, and he leaned in closer admiring your face as he spoke. “…You don’t see yourself the way I do. You are really the most prettiest girl I know, in fact pretty is a complete understatement." Tears spilled again, but this time you had a smile. “…You really mean that?” He laughed softly, his own eyes glistening as he brushed your tears with his thumb. “Of course and look at you! You're making me cry too now! Look at us!” He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into him dramatically. “Model Kise Ryouta, brought to tears because his ethereal girlfriend is too cute and too perfect to see how much he loves her.”

Kagami Taiga
The smell of something faintly burnt lingered in the kitchen, but you didn’t have the energy to care. You sat at the couch, head buried in your arms, tears spilling out of your eyes, motivation gone. The homesickness had hit you out of nowhere, sharp and overwhelming, you missed the comfort of your family, the safety of being surrounded by the people you grew up with. Three months ago you had immense excitement in moving to start your new life with Kagami. Now here you were, crying into your sleeves in Kagami’s apartment.
When the front door clicked open, you quickly wiped at your eyes, but it was too late. Kagami froze in the doorway, grocery bags dangling from his hands. “Y/N?!” His voice was louder than he meant, panic etched across his face. He dropped the bags on the counter immediately and rushed over, crouching beside you. “What happened? Did someone hurt you?”
You shook your head, biting your lip. “…No. I just… I miss home. I feel so alone here sometimes.” His eyes softened immediately.“Ah… damn.” He scratched the back of his neck, clearly flustered, “Don’t cry! Or-or, I mean, it’s okay to cry, but-ahhh, I am so ass at this.” Despite your tears, a small laugh slipped out. “You really are.”
“H-hey! I’m trying here!”
He then sat down beside you and wrapped one of his huge hands over yours, squeezing gently. “…Look I don’t know how to be all poetic or whatever. I’m not good with feelings. But I know this, you’re not alone. Not as long as I’m here.” He then paused for a moment. “I don’t want you to be lonely,” he continued, softer. “Tell me when it gets bad. I’ll listen, I’ll learn. I’ll call your mom if you want. We’ll put up photos, get that stupid plant you like, make this place smell like your home. A small, shaky laugh left you. “You promise?”
“Promise. I got you, okay?"

Tetsuya Kuroko
The schoolyard buzzed with groups spilling out after classes, clusters of friends lingering at the gates, laughing together as they exited the school all exchanging plans on group hangouts. You sat on the steps alone as you watched it all unfold on the sidelines. You never knew how people did it. Getting into conversations with ease, teasing each other so naturally, making plans without even thinking. Every time you tried, your words came out clumsy, too quiet, too late. So you stopped trying. And in stopping, you convinced yourself that maybe you didn’t deserve it anyway.
The ache was always there, but for some reason today, you felt it a bit more. Your eyes burned as you thought, How could Tetsuya like me? He was similar to you, but he still had his voice, and he was still able to make friends. You…were just awkward. Too quiet, too weird, too much of a loser to keep anyone around. And for some reason he liked you and even asked you out on a date. You always thought to yourself if he hadn't done that, you would've probably been lonely forever as you yourself would never have the guts to talk to anyone yet alone say you like them. The more you thought about everything, the harder the tears came. In the middle of all that doubt, a shadow appeared across you. When you lifted your head, eyes blurry with tears, Kuroko was already there, kneeling in front of you, his hand outstretched with a carton of vanilla milk.
“…Tetsu?” Your voice cracked. "I-I didn’t think you’d come so fast.”
“I know,” he said sitting down beside you. He held the carton out until your fingers closed around it. For a moment you both just stayed quiet in silence. The silence was also very comforting in a way, as if he were waiting for you to tell you your problems at the pace you're comfortable with. Eventually you let the words out in a whisper. “…Sometimes it feels like I’ll never…have a teenage life. I don’t know how to talk to people. I just feel awkward all the time.”
Kuroko’s head tilted. “You will live your teenage life believe me Y/N."
You snorted a little, skeptical yet it was laced with hope. “How?”
He gave a small smile. “The team’s going out to eat tomorrow to celebrate our win from this week. They asked if I could bring you. They want to meet my girlfriend properly.” You blinked. “They asked you?”
You then began to protest. "I-I wouldn't want to intrude...."
“They insisted,” he said. “You should come. It’s not intruding."
Your chest tightened at the thought, anxiety and a tiny thread of hope tangling together. “I don’t know if I can..what if they don't like me." You said frowning at the thought
Kuroko reached out and held your hand in his own. “I’ll be there. I’ll sit next to you. If you want, I’ll talk for both of us at first. Then you can try when you’re ready.. and I promise you when you do, they'd love you."

Atsushi Murasakibara
You were curled up on the couch, blanket pulled to your chin, tears slipping down your cheeks as you scrolled through your phone. Nothing had really happened. It was just one of those days where everything felt heavier, harder to take in. PMS had you in a chokehold, and the commercials with puppies needing to be adopted were not helping your case in the slightest.
The front door opened with a lazy click, and Murasakibara’s voice drifted in, muffled around a lollipop. “Y/Nchin, I got snacks for us." He walked into the living room, plastic bags swinging in his huge hands, but stopped in his tracks when he saw your face. “…Huh? Why’re you crying?” His brows furrowed slightly, and he set the bags down. “Who made you cry? Who do I need to crush?" You sniffled, shaking your head quickly. “N-no one. I’m just… emotional. It’s nothing, Atsushi.” He tilted his head, frown deepening. “…Emotional?” His looked at you for a moment, then he seemed to put the pieces together. “…Oh. That time, huh?”
“…Yeah.” You mumbled Without another word, Murasakibara collapsed onto the couch beside you, pulling you into him. His arms wrapped around you, warm and heavy. “You’re not allowed to say it’s ‘nothing,’” he mumbled. “If it makes you cry, it matters. At least to me.” You let out a small, watery laugh, muffled against him. “You’re such a goof.” He hummed, already rummaging in the snack bag with one free hand, grabbing a chocolate bar. He unwrapped it then held it up to your lips. “Eat. You always told me chocolate makes everything better."

Seijuro Akashi
Your fingers twisted at the hem of your dress until your knuckles ached. You’d rehearsed a thousand versions of tomorrow in your head, how you’d greet him, what you’d say, how you’d laugh at the right moment. The very thought of tomorrow made your stomach feel nauseous. Meeting Akashi's father had been circling in your head for weeks, but now that it was actually happening, it felt all too real and unbearable. When the door slid open, Akashi stepped inside, jacket neatly folded over his arm. The moment he caught sight of you, your eyes glassy and your shoulders trembling. “Y/N,” he said quietly as he walked towards you, “What’s wrong?” You tried laughing it off to not make him worry further. “…It’s just stupid.” He then sat next to you on the bed, placing his coat next to him. "Nothing that makes you cry is to be considered stupid love,” . His eyes then locked onto yours. “Tell me.”
Your chest tightened, and the words tumbled out before you could stop them. “…I can’t do this, Seijuro. What if I mess up? What if he hates me? What if he thinks I’m not good enough for you? H-he’s your father. What if I embarrass you?”
When you finished Akashi’s hand came up to your face, tilting your chin so you couldn’t hide. His voice was calm yet it left no room for doubt.
“My father’s opinion is not a verdict on you. I’m asking him to meet you because it is a matter of respect. Not because I seek approval." He then lifted a thumb and wiped the corner of your eye. “You are not the one who should be nervous about meeting him. He should be the one proving he is worthy of knowing you.” You blinked, stunned. “But-"
“No.” His tone sharpened, silencing you. “I chose you. That is all that matters. Do you think I would bring anyone unworthy into my home? To stand beside me? Never. You're my queen, my heart, my soul.”
His gaze softened just slightly as he looked at your relieved expression, he then raised your hands to his lips, and gave it a gentle kiss. “I will never allow him to make you feel small. When you walk into that room tomorrow, you walk with me. And no one, not even him will ever have rights to question your place as my equal, my empress."

Teppei Kiyoshi
The sizzle of eggs in the pan filled the kitchen, but your hands trembled as you tried to flip them. You blinked rapidly trying to chase the tears away, but it was ineffective. All you could see was the image of Kiyoshi wincing the night before, pressing his knee when he thought you weren’t looking. He’d brushed it off with that soft smile of his, the smile he mustered when he tried to reassure everyone else, but you e been dating this man for years and saw through it. And it honestly terrified you.
Because what if he pushed too hard? What if it got worse? What if one day he couldn’t move at all? A choked sob slipped out before you could catch it, your vision blurring over the pan. You set the spatula down, covering your face with your hands, shoulders shaking. The floor creaked softly behind you. You froze, then immediately tried to get rid of the evidence you were crying. But it was too late. “Y/N?” His voice was low and tired. You turned to see Kiyoshi standing in the doorway, hair messy, t-shirt loose and already concerned. He stepped forward immediately, not even glancing at the stove. “What's the matter princess? Why are you crying?” “I-I.."you tried, but your voice broke. You then tried brushing it off, because you knew how much this topic was upsetting. “It’s really nothing I jus-"
"Don’t,” he interrupted gently, already reaching for the stove to turn the burner off. Then he came up behind you, warm arms sliding around your waist, his chin dipping to rest lightly against your shoulder. “Talk to me princess, what's going on in that pretty head of yours?" You then broke hearing his calm caring voice, he didn't deserve this. He was the last person to deserve this. “Your knee Teppei. You were in pain last night, I saw it. And you keep pretending it’s fine, but it’s not, and-" You squeezed your eyes shut, tears spilling again. “I don’t want you to hurt yourself worse." There was silence, just the sound of his breathing against your ear. Then he turned you in his arms, big hands cupping your cheeks, brushing away the tears as they came. His expression was soft, but guilt was mixed in it.
“…You noticed, huh?” His voice was quiet, but not surprised. He let out a sigh. “I didn’t want you to worry.”
“Well, too late,” you whispered, tears spilling over again.
He smiled. His thumbs stroked your cheeks. “Y/N… don’t cry. I’ll be okay. I know my limits better than anyone, and I’m not going to push myself to the point of breaking. I promise.” You sniffled, searching his eyes. “But what if-"
“I promise my love, I want our future together to be wonderful. How can I ever ruin that for us?" You couldn’t stop the sob that escaped, and before you could cover your face, he was pulling you into his chest, his hand rubbing slow circles into your back. “Shh. It’s okay. I’ve got you.”
He leaned down and kissed the top of your head. “You don’t have to carry this worry alone, okay? If I hurt, I’ll tell you. I won't hide it anymore. That’s a promise too.”
You let out a shaky laugh through your tears. “You’d better keep it.”
