Her name is Yan Su.

She's an adopted child of the Yan family(also oc family), though she was originally there simply as the personal servant of the family's eldest daughter. It happened... not by chance, but that's a story for another time. In short, she... was recruited to work in the palace. She's smart enough to work there.

An archivist and secretary, she works in the outer courtyard and mostly with paperwork.

She's also very bad at hiding strong negative emotions.

Apothecary Diaries OC! Her name is Momo ✨ She and Maomao are twins, but were separated at birth because the parents who took Momo in wouldn’t take more than one child. They’re not identical twins, if you couldn’t tell lol.

Growing up, Momo was into more masculine hobbies, such as fighting with other kids. Eventually, she meets a girl named Xiulang and they fall in love. In hopes of being able to marry her, Momo assumes a male disguise and the name Jieyin, joining the military in hopes of having enough money one day.

While she has a masculine physique, her face is very feminine, so she uses makeup to disguise it. Eventually, as they exchange letters while Momo is in the army, Xiulang sends her last letter saying her parents have sold her to the rear palace.

Momo finishes her time in the army and disguises as a eunuch, still as Jieyin, to enter the rear palace. There she is reunited with Maomao, and they agree to pretend not to know each other as to not give away Jieyin’s identity. Jinshi’s slightly jealous of the time Jieyin and Maomao spend together, so out of good faith and respect Maomao says that Jieyin is her twin brother, that’s all.

But Jinshi remembers a conversation they’d had in the past, where Maomao mentioned a twin sister, but never a brother. Jinshi thinks if he can get on Jieyin’s good side, he’ll be on more of a good side with Maomao.

It’s too much to put here but just know eventually Jieyin was unfortunately stationed elsewhere outside of the rear palace, and a new concubine Momo, our dear apothecary’s twin sister, has joined the rear palace!

And yes she reunited with Xiulang 💕 the chibis at the end of this video are them! I’ll draw Xiulang soon! Hope yall enjoy!

Little fun fact about Rukka’s weapon, Cataclysm. The blade of the sword is the “sheath.” While in its sealed form (still sheathed), the blade is gone from the handle. So Rukka is pretty much carrying around a blade-less sword.

When Rukka reveals Cataclysm, by drawing her sword, the sheath starts to dissipate from the end and forms the blade. This process happens again when Rukka sheaths her sword after a fight, this time it’s the blade that dissipates to form the sheath.

I'm not satisfied with the way the effects look for the sword. Maybe when I get more practice, it’ll look better
