and then nobody sees a problem or thinks “wait, maybe that person isn’t doing so well” because they’re so convinced that AW THEY’RE SO NICE ALL THE TIME and then because we act like this behaviour is a good thing or a nice thing or even take advantage of it nothing ever changes and the person just lets their feelings fester and they stay miserable and think they’re a sponge to everyone’s problems when they’re not lol
