Do you have any specific character descriptions (hair clothes, hobbies etc.) that are a little different than the ones in the show?

in fantasy au, definitely!

more specifically for mike and max; mike has a long scar over his right eye, although he can still see out of it !!

max is completely missing her eye. she lost it in a tourney; during one of her first melees as a knight, she beat her components, but one of them slashed her eye enough that it was impossible to save. so, now, she wears an eyepatch! here is a picrew of how i imagine ser max, the sun’s knight:

so yeah!! those are the major differences so far.

mike’s scar is an … interesting story. it interweaves with how he ended up becoming a knight, rather than the next lord of hollyheart, interestingly enough.

Idk if this relates or not but do the characters in your story has attributes of any Greek Gods/Goddesses?

I saw a post earlier today describing El and Will as Artemis and Apollo and I was wondering if the characters in your story sort of had a God/Goddess vibe?

omg… this is so cool actually. as a greek mythology fanatic of like nearly 10 years (see: bury me in metamorphoses lol), this question is RIGHT up my alley.

honestly, willel do give off artemis and apollo vibes, that being they are powerful twins, but as will is very focused on the art of healing and communicating with animals, i think hes kind of a apollo-artemis mix. el is kind of like a mix between hephaestus and demeter imo.

as for the others in this au… max having some ares influence makes total sense imo, while lucas has athena vibes THROUGH THE ROOF !! idk why but dustin kinda has dionysus vibes to me, but also apollo at the same time!! maybe even hermes tbh. and yeah, nancy is hestia-influenced through and through.

Hello! I was just looking at your carrd and saw dni Steve stans. I was just wondering to what extent/why because I like him (not season 1 though 😟) and his development but this is your blog and I don’t want to make you uncomfortable by following you!!! Have a nice day :)

haha, it’s mostly like the crazy steve stans that i cant stand, so i dont think you have anything to worry about!!

personally, it’s just a character preference thing. i’ve never liked him (him calling jonathan — and will by association — a slur has been something i just cant get past, especially because of how the word has been used toward me), even after his redemption arc. some people try to defend his season one actions and won’t listen to why i dislike him, and THOSE are the steve stans i do not want interacting.

so yeah, you should be totally fine anon. thank you for being kind enough to ask, though!

I have a question because I just LOVE this fic to bits I- 😭🫶

I love Lumax so so much, so will there be background Lumax snippets here and there? I think that would be pretty cute since Max seems to be quite high in society (I believe?) as I think she is a commander? I know that Byler is the main focus, but was just wondering! 🫶

Also! It said in the tags that there might be Masquerades 👀 so, don’t answer this in case it spoils anything, but will that be when Mike sees that the Cursecaster is Will or…? If it’s a spoiler please don’t tell me 😅🤗

YES!! there WILL be lumax snippets!!

lumax is one of my favorite st ships, so you KNOW i had to include them here. at the moment, their relationship is in a state of pining; lucas is head over heels in love with her and yeah, mike and dustin know, and yeah, they tease the hell out of him for it because of just HOW obvious he is. max is harder to read, so lucas likely thinks its unreciprocated, but not to worry, she ALSO has a huge crush on him but she is rather closed off and likes to keep up this "big bad commander" personality. lumax is definitely coming, so keep an eye out.

and yeah... theres a huge masquerade ball planned! as for what happens there, that would be a major spoiler, so i'll have to keep quiet about that.... so chapter 5 is definitely the chapter to look out for.
