“Alchemy...?” Peering at the shop window for this ‘apothecary’, 9S can’t help thinking he doubts any of the ingredients he sees there could combine to make anything remotely fantastical. Perhaps it was a fancier word for what humans called medicine, under the guise of magic...? From what he understands, a lot of off-worlders visited the school across the road, despite the magic here being suspiciously out of their reach.
Noticing someone nearby (perhaps even someone a little imposing), he shrugs, casual. “What – you don’t believe in this stuff, right? Mushing up animal parts isn’t going to create magic.” Perhaps he sounded a little offhand, but... well, encouraging curiosity never hurt anyone. At least, as far as most people were concerned.

10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? not so much neuroses, but prompto struggles with anxiety and depression, and has for years. i feel like he didn’t really come to terms with and start accepting them both until he was well into high school.
20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them? already answered!
30: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies) i feel like prompto would keep his grieving and suffering private, away from his friends because he doesn’t want to burden anyone. he would plaster a smile and put on a brave face in front of other people, but once he’s alone, it would all crumble.
40: How misanthropic are they? i feel like before episode prompto, he wasn’t very misanthropic at all. prompto doesn’t always know how to deal with them, but he loves people, and he likes interacting with them. after what transpired in episode prompto, though, i feel like he truly, completely understands just how dark of a path humans can follow. it rattles him, makes him a little less trusting.

“That’s impossible to choose. It’s like picking your favorite child. But, for the record, one time I put a chocolate milkshake, a strawberry milkshake, a large fries, three hamburgers, and a diet coke in the blender and I swear I felt what I imagine Archie feels when he falls in love.”
What is their biggest regret?
“One time I nearly ruined my friends’ lives by posting a music video that went viral. Everyone became laughingstocks, and Betty’s chances at college were almost ruined. I fixed it, but it still makes me feel queasy when I think about it.”
What makes them feel guilty?
“Not much, to be honest. But if it involves disappointing or hurting the people I care about, that’ll do it.”

“Unless you want to be target practice for the bags of bones outside, I wouldn’t try it dude. I can keep up with their toys, I dunno ‘bout you.” His feet tapped in beat as he surveyed the skeletons that were roaming across the districts from a distance. They certainly weren’t like those monsters that moved at a snails pace. They had themselves an assortment of crazy toys that reminded the blue hedhehog of some of the badniks he faced. Clearing these jokers out would make running around less of a hassle that’s for sure. He looked up at the next human he had come across. This dude certainly had some interesting threads to compliment his wild hair. To Sonic? His good old shoes and gloves were all he needed.
I always call villains by the wrong name. It's kind of a thing I do. Just now when I was trying to remember Knightfall's henchperson's real name, my brain came up with Dicksmasher. It wasn't until I was scanning the panel that I remembered her name was "Bonebreaker." Good synonym, brain! Keep up the good work while I'm completely distracted and unaware of what you're doing! It's like I've got razors under my floorboards!
