So it’s rather exciting, but Tangled Threads is almost finished in my drafts now. I just posted chapter 13 yesterday (find the start of the fic here) and there will be a total of 25 chapters. I then will work on a sequel for NaNoWriMo which will be a fun side project.
I haven’t written on this story since May, but I feel refreshed now that work is settled and I feel comfortable again. I don’t know if anyone still reads this, but I’m at least going to finish it for myself. It’s pretty niche, I know, but it’s a solid story I feel like.
It’s my first attempt at knit lit, and it involves an Ace Reader because I wanted some representation of myself out there. Writing smut is fun, but I wanted to see myself for a bit. I’m pleased so far.
Updates will be once or twice a week between now and November, and then I will start publishing the sequel once I have the majority of it written. Again, I’m not posting them directly here because it’s too difficult for me to keep up with and so I don’t have the spoons for it. But they will always be on AO3.
Tangled Threads follows the story of an Ace Reader who runs a yarn shop in a small town. A SHIELD base opens up near by and she becomes friends with Loki and Darcy. Loki takes an interest in her, and things blossom, including knitting lessons and more.
If you come read it and like it, please let me know! Comments help me gauge reader interest and show me if I’m posting into a void or not.
