My stash busting sweater is one sleeve away from completion! And I know it fits cause I tried it on before finishing the first sleeve (so much easier to measure sleeve length on the body).

Took the sweater to a knitting group and was asked what pattern I’m using. The answer … uh …. Elizabeth Zimmerman percentages system for a raglan sweater. Then asked how I planned the stripes … uh they come from the heart. I switch colors when I feeeeeeeeel it. And cause we’re going with designing with the heart, the sleeves won’t match. Bwhahahahaha!

i’ve been wearing this one noooooon-stop ! (pattern is jeju sweater by aegyoknit; yarn is drops cotton). i love how lightweight it is!

hello! i am 25 yrs old and obsessed with knitting :) i have been knitting since i was 9 years old on and off but mostly hats, scarves, ONE sweater, freehanding all my projects. never had any interest in patterns, focused on any techniques and simply knit what came to me. this year has been different, i’ve been more dedicated to learning new techniques, actually buying patterns and paying attention to the quality of my yarn, its fibre, its properties, its intention. im starting this account to have a place to document my work, i know i’ll love it here even if no one reads.
