Downsizing!
I made a very sensible decision this weekend - I've put the Passap up into the attic. I am not planning to work on it for the next while, as it's swallowing all of my time, and I'm not machine knitting at all at the moment!
Everything is still very busy. Brendan is still horribly ill, and we're on constant alert to rush over there so that makes life a little hard to plan.
My Singer has been sitting patiently waiting for me to come along and knit something. So, after spending a few weeks cleaning up the Passap, I've decided I need to know more about it before I can do anything sensible on it, and I am going to devote more time to working on my Singer.
The office is now clearer, and it's much nicer to be out there again. I really do need to finish painting it in the next week or so too!
Aaron and I did shoot a video of how to put the stand for the Passap together, and how to put it on the stand, and then I just couldn't work out how to fit a lot of the other things, so I am awaiting some more manuals and I will carry on looking at it in the attic once they arrive.
I have so much planned for the next couple of weeks, bearing in mind we may need to head to Ireland. With Dylan now a full-time school boy, I have time to do all those crafty and housewife things I've had excuses to ignore for years!
I am planning to work on the bathroom, and get the walls tiled and getting the new sink fitted.
I have a machine knit-list consisting of a poncho, socks, a cardy for me, a jumper for Dylan and gloves for Connor. I do hope I can get some of them started, and even better, finished!
I am hand-knitting some socks, a jumper for Dylan, and a pair of large house socks for Aaron. So there's plenty to keep me busy.
Today went well with a visit to the knitting group in town, and about 10 rows of my socks finished. I may go along to the community craft group tomorrow. And then I think I may sleep all day on Wednesday!
