I was practicing the Stockinette stitch yesterday and I dropped a stitch which started to ladder. I'd heard a few times about using a crochet hook to fix it, but I don't have the fine motor skills to use a crochet hook. However, my dad had just come back from walking the dog and he left the dog's lead on the couch, so I grabbed the lead and used the hinge pin as a crochet hook that I could close the top of so that I wouldn't drop the yarn... And it WORKED!!!
