Knock Out cosplay log 1 (Oct 30)

So, I've decided to cosplay as the red pookie himself for tfcon la. I wanted to make long arm first because i think it would be easier, but i love ko way more than him so i decided to fuck around and find out during the process. It's really fucking scary but I know it'll be worth it

The legs, arms, and hands will be in cardboard while the helm and chest will be in eva foam. i think the torso and crotchplate will be in cardboard, idk. here's a rough sketch of what he'll look like:

if making the pedes tomorrow or saturday doesnt go well im gonna be so mad. wish me luck!

i forgot to make the pattern for the back lower leg. oh well i can do that tomorrow

ayyyyyee would ya look at that, i finally did a human knockout cosplay!c it turned out pretty good, but I'm never wearing fake nails again, typing is a pain in the ass!!

Musings while adding and re-doing metal reinforcements with ask-dr-knockout :

- Metal fatigue would be a repetitive stress injury for Cybertronians, similar to our tennis elbow, but possibly requiring replacement parts.

- What you don't want to hear your Cybertronian surgeon say: "Ok wait... oh yeah, righty tighty lefty loosey"

- Metal bending would make bending metal a lot easier.

With some help from my friend and company-

I have the material for the vest and shirt for my Knockout Cosplay.

The company portion helped me find the right material and fabric. I found the patterns for both and because we went to Goodwill, I found a pair of men's pants that are my size and the material for the shirt is a shade lighter, but I think that will make it look better.

Mom will help me find a lining and I don't think I'll have the pockets on there. I need:

A pair of gray gloves to snip the ends off for the fingers

Fake nails

Gray nail polish

Gold buttons

Possibly thread

A wooden dowel rod for Knockout's trident

Crafting foam for the top of the trident

There may be more but I'm exhausted and I can't think of anything else.
