Things I was grateful for in August 2021: Vox Machina Origins, a soft Trinket plush, Blue Enchantress dice from Die Hard Dice, Wikkid Polish in Triton, Manic Panic semi-permanent hair dye in Pretty Flamingo, a Mokuyobi valencia orange fruit sling, a soft pretzel and spicy cheese dip, peach and prickly pear agua fresca, a trip to Knott’s Berry Farm with my best friends Anthony, Katie, and Rose, a fun caricature (complete with flower crowns), Jujubar for breakfast with Katie, splitting several grilled cheeses and onion rings at Cheesewalla for lunch with Katie, (finally) watching Bo Burnham’s Inside, the Drive Like Jelly donut back at Donut Friend, and watching Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp,Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame during Monday Marvel movie dates with my best friend Katie.

Kingdom of the Dinosaurs I think is the first theme park attraction I remember opening in my lifetime - and it did not disappoint. I miss it, still.

Knott’s Berry Farm, America’s First and Oldest Theme Park. Knott’s started out as a berry farm, became a Chicken Restaurant, and finally the Theme Park she is today.
