Soooo I just impulse bought Loud Hands and Knowing Why from ASAN because I’ve just been feeling really down about being autistic and not having any autistic friends that can understand has just been really isolating. The books aren’t coming until next week which is super not cool but hopefully they’ll be something encouraging over Thanksgiving break when I’ll be around a lot of unaccepting family members. If anyone else has any good autistic books (both feel good books and more scientific books, and honestly blogs or journal articles or youtube channels or whatever, also like ADHD too and really anything) please let me know! I’m a big reader when I’m not constantly on the edge of a meltdown because grad school. Hopefully Christmas break will be some good reading time.
I don’t think I want to exist at the moment
