I’ve been feeling like explaining my icon for a while, so here’s it’s origin story:

The start of it is, I wanted to design a symbol for clan lore in a game I play, so I did and this is what I came up with. Simple as that. I wanted it to be a mix of a few other symbols that matched with me and the clan: eye, light, libra, balance, moon and sun, and simplicity. I used it as my icon here as a sort of placeholder, and now it’s pretty much become a symbol of my practice. I could type the reasons for that in further detail if anyone wants me to, but for now, I’m cutting this short. As far as I know, this symbol is completely original (as intended). I haven’t been able to find it elsewhere, even for as simple as it is. If anyone else has, please tell me! I created it on September 21st, 2016.

Salt: How do you protect yourself from the hate?

I am blessed that I don’t get much hate, but when I do I have wards, shields, and spells in place for protection. I also have a good head on my shoulders and a good heart in my chest that lets me see that it isn’t me they are angry at, it is a part of themselves they hate. 

Power: How do you feel when casting?

tingly. kinda cold and shivery, very very static-y. 

Spirit: What defines you? What type of witch do you call yourself?

I just call myself a Witch, but I practice Grey witchcraft, weather witchcraft, green witchcraft, idk, I love everything.

Hi c: I was wondering if you are doing readings currently, and if I could please have one?

Ooo, absolutely! I love you icon, btw!The first thing I see is brown. A dried brown filled with rocks and roots. They're rushing past me. I realize now that I'm being dragged into the earth, burrowing through layers of dirt and stone. I find myself helping whatever force is pushing me deeper by clawing at the solid earth until I'm moving deeper at my own accord. I'm simply told to go deeper. I'm not quiet there yet, but I know where I'm going now. The hot, golden center of the planet. I'm supposed to touch it and let it empower me, but I have a long way to go before that happens. Until then, I will continue to dig my way there despite the hole feeling smaller and smaller. It is the earth hugging me. She/He wants me to make it.Hope this helps! :3

Death:Someone you really missMy first cat, Aja Dobbo. He’s at peace in my parent’s garden, right by my favorite play spot as a child. He was a magnificent animal <3The Sun:Your happiest memoryI am blessed with a lot of happy memories, but one that stands out is from when I was 11 years old. I had just discovered LARP, and after the insane bullying I faced in school it was a huge relief. I remember standing in front of the mirror, dressing in my costume, and listening to Natacha Bedingfield’s ‘Unwritten’ on the radio (yes, that was back when people got all their music from radio .. It also had a built in casette player tho!)I don’t know if you know the song, but it was perfect for the occasion, and it felt like destiny that it should come on at that moment. I felt like I could do anything. I felt pure, unadultered happiness as I doubt I’ll ever feel it again.
