Dance United is delighted to take part in Digital October’s Knowledge Stream this Monday 12th August 2013, 5pm (UK time)/ 8pm (Russian time).

Dance United’s Alliance Director, Carly Annable-Coop, will speak of Dance United’s work to a live audience in Moscow as well as online viewers across the globe.  The presentation will be done via videoconference and include a post-talk discussion led by Darya Alekseeva (Editor at Social Technology Greenhouse project), with Lilit Gorelova (Director, Mercy Home Reabilitation Center for children and young people), Larisa Afanasyeva (Upsala Circus) and Tatyana Evlampieva (Director, dance4life, Russia).

Knowledge Stream is a nonprofit educational project run by Digital October. Its main objective is to introduce Russian audiences to the latest global advancements in science and business. This ongoing project involves distinguished researchers and experts who are willing to share their knowledge with a Russian audience, but who are unable to travel to Russia in person. The lecturers instead appear via videoconference; every presentation and subsequent discussion is broadcast live on the Knowledge Stream website. Dance United’s presentation is part of Knowledge Stream’s Innovation and Education Series.

Loyalty — To Brands, a Content — To Consumers

23 May at 20:00 Chantal Rickards, Head of Programming & Branded Content at MEC media agency (London),will hold a talk at Digital October center during which she will discuss why branded content is so much in demand today and how to find a balance between the possibilities offered by modern technology and the negative attitude of consumers to traditional advertising. Rickards will present case studies from her practice.
