Classes to Script
Criminal Psychology - quarter class:
Exploring the psychology behind perpetrators in true crime cases. Deep diving into a wide diversity of cases and analyzing them.
Assignments Examples
- Informational essays on specific perpetrators including their childhood/any life events that we could theorize cause them to do what they did, their crime, their victims, the investigation and arrest surrounding the case
- Covering Cases/watching documentaries as a class and discussing them
Healing & First Aid Magic - quarter class
This class teaches basic Healing & Aid Magic and gives students the opportunity to get a two year certification in it. Students need to have take CPR & first aid prior to taking this class.
Critical Thinking - quarter class
Discussion/student lead class. Students learn how to come to their own conclusions on controversial topics and debate them.
Assignment Examples:
- Students are given a prompt on a controversial topic and then given ten minutes to write a response (with bullet points and arguments) then they debate it as a class
- Picking an argumentative topic and writing an essay on it.
Cinematography - full year class
Analyzing and creating mini motion pictures. This class takes frequent field trips to a wide variety of places to obtain footage for projects. At the end of the year they go on one large out of the country one.
Assignment Examples:
- A project where students make a trailer for one of our favorite movies and share it with the class
- Watching motion pictures and taking notes on the techniques used to bring the film to life, then discussing as a class
- Collaborating with the Intro to Screenwriting class to make mini skits
- Make a short film based on an important lesson that individual students have learned throughout their lives. They have complete creative freedom. It needs to be five minutes at least but no longer than ten. It can reuse footage from earlier in the class.
[Aphmau DRs] Magi Mythology - semester class
Exploring the mythology, movement, history, and culture surrounding the magi.
Assignment Examples:
- Lots of notes (but the teacher is fun and engaging)
- Quizzes & tests (w/ kahoot reviews
[Aphmau DRs] General Werewolf Education- full year class
Students learn of werewolf anatomy, biology, history, culture, pack roles, etc. The class typically is majority werewolf as it's required for werewolf students, but is not limited to werewolves.
