he raises a brow, looks the man up and down, but finds nothing too suspicious. a hmph escapes him, as though sten had not expected this human’s commentary. “ surprising words, from one of your kind. you would make a good arvaarad, bas.”
And Thrask had not expected what sounded like a compliment as a reply. Not from a Qunari. He too eyed his interlocutor, with an open wariness that was turning into something more alike to surprise, or attention, or simple confusion. « They should not be so surprising. And I’ll beg your pardon, serah, but I would make a good what? »

“I knew this was going to be a bad day.” Duncan grimaced as he looked down at the bodies before them, human mercenaries and Qunari alike. There were too many wounds to clearly tell what had done the damage, though it looked like like whatever had done it was large and had claws.

she knows full well she’s never exactly PRESENTED an imposing figure and now, even with this uncomfortable throne behind her, sidri feels practically CHILDISH as the qunari enter the grand chamber. fingers briefly DIG into the tender flesh of her palm to remind herself this is not child’s play; every action, every BREATH has consequences.
still, josephine has assured her they come not as enemies, a sentiment shared by bull. with that in mind, sidri stands once the arishok draws near.
“the INQUISITION welcomes you, my lord.”
